I stayed for consecutive nights from October 2nd to 4th!Anyway, the response from all the staff is great! The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious all three days, and best of all, since I was traveling around the country on a large motorcycle, I was glad that I was able to park in a covered area, although the number of vehicles was limited. It was raining on the second and third day, so I decided to use the subway and bus to get around, but this place is in the middle of Kyoto, easy to find, and convenient! When I go to Kyoto, I will make a reservation again!3 days! The weather was rainy, but it felt good.

The seating area for breakfast is too small. Can't we do something a little more?

Stayed overnight in room 712. After flushing the toilet the day before I went out, I took a nap and woke up and it was still flushing...When I turn the handle left and right, it spins around and around, and now the chain inside comes off and it doesn't flow...Since I was out tomorrow, I stuck my hand into the tank and pulled the chain to let it flow. When I returned home on the day I went out, I told the front desk that the handle was broken and that the water kept flowing or didn't flow at all.The person at the front desk was very polite. Thank you very much...Hmm... I felt like my answer was different.I often use Toyoko Inn. The free breakfast is good, and the rooms are clean. The toilet is a little small, but I don't mind.I am starting to worry about whether I will use Toyoko Inn in the future...

General business hotel. Check-in is done by machine and at the reception desk, which gives the impression that it takes extra time.

Typical business hotel, walls are thin, in-room facilities are minimal, and above all, the rice for breakfast is the worst I've had in recent years. Don't you know the water level? Soggy rice. There aren't many side dishes, and it's not refilled in time. Well, it's free so it's probably about this, but the quality of breakfast at other hotels is high.It was a shame. There is also no large public bath.

Important things to look for in an accommodation facility! ! Cleanliness!I especially appreciate that the water area is always clean. It's amazing that breakfast is included for this price! If you're looking for service or loyalty, look for another hotel, but I felt a strong sense of security knowing that Toyoko was back, and the location was great, with convenience stores, restaurants, the station, and almost everything nearby! !P.S. Bathroom? toilet? Will the floor sink? That scared me a little, especially since I've gained weight recently...

(As of September 2024)Nowadays, a single hotel in Kyoto costs around 15,000 yen. As with Shijo Omiya, I'm grateful that I can stay here for just 7,000 yen. It is also convenient to be able to pay the accommodation tax at the same time as paying the accommodation fee online. However, we do not recommend it for those who seek a certain level of hotel hospitality, those who value hotels when traveling, or those who are nervous. This may not be a problem for those who just need a cheap place to sleep. It depends on the time and situation, but even in non-smoking rooms, the smell of cigarettes circulates due to the structure of the building (especially during the hours when there are many people from evening to late at night), and the tap water has a strange smell of chlorine ( Other hotels in the area do not do this), so be careful if you have allergies. For breakfast, the in-room meal service that started due to the coronavirus pandemic is no longer available. Unlike other business hotels, the small venue is packed with customers, making it feel like an izakaya, and on top of that, the food service lacks a sense of cleanliness.Even apart from the coronavirus pandemic, I don't want to eat in such a crowded place, and I don't want to wait. However, if it's a holiday, there aren't many seats available, so you won't be able to eat there for a long time. Although it is a business hotel, it is not suitable for businessmen who are in a hurry. The coronavirus pandemic is not over at all, and if it's going to be this crowded, I wish they would allow in-room dining. This is Shijo Omiya, and as an inn in Kyoto, one of the leading tourist destinations, and with good access to Arashiyama and other destinations that attract tourists from all over the country, I would like to see the hotel aim for a higher quality, more dignified, and more considerate service for travelers. It's a shame because Toyoko Inn has a lot of good points, such as the ease of use is the same no matter where you are in the city, the warmth that makes you feel like you're back at home, the thorough cleaning, and the functional rooms. is.

The water in the toilet wouldn't stop, I told the front desk and they fixed it, but it wouldn't stop again. I gave up. No breakfast tray, no rice, not much leftovers😵
