Is it worth the price? Is it a good inn to come in the winter when most skiers come? The hot springs are ◎, the food is ○, but if you go by car, the parking lot is parallel and you can leave the key at the front desk. Required: If you want to take out the car of the person parked behind you, the host will move their own car.So you may feel a little reluctant to go to a nearby convenience store.Perhaps it was just a coincidence that the room I stayed in had no air conditioner, and the temperature was at the height of summer, so I was quite worried. When I was shown to the room, there was a fan, so I had a bad feeling about it.I like relaxing in a cool room after taking a bath, so I don't think I'll be visiting again. The smoking area is a former karaoke room on the first floor. It also has an air conditioner, but it doesn't work very well either. There is one vending machine of this size, one soft drink and one beer vending machine, and there is a kiosk, but it only sells ice cream and drinks. There were no sales.

■Plan[Old Recluse Plan/Dinner only] 1000 yen OFF from normal price! Save money with self-planning ■Fees1 night 2 days15,730 yen (adult) x 2 peopleSubtotal: 31,460 yen■ImpressionsI used it with two friends from Tokyo. Make a reservation from Jalan. It was very good.Listed below.・Free shuttle service is available. If you request over the phone, they will come and pick you up. It's a 20 minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station, so I used it both on my way there and back.・The hot spring is a large public bath type. It's not the type to be reserved for private use, so there's no reason why you won't be able to enter. There are indoor and outdoor saunas, and it's rare for a ryokan to have a sauna.・The temperature of the water was quite high. It felt like 42 degrees Celsius. The view from the open air is very good. I went there twice, once in the day and at night, and the weather was nice and I was satisfied.・The changing room is an open type with no locker locks. There is also a key-type locker for valuables, so you can put your room keys, wallet, etc.・Amenities such as cosmetics and face care products are available in the changing room. There was also a water server, which felt like a spa coin these days.・Towels can be added for a fee if you ask at the front desk. If you don't want to waste it, just dry it on the towel in your room and reuse it.・I believe I was able to add nightwear for free.・You can play table tennis. No usage fee. There is only one table, so it is used when it is empty.・Additional drinks and towels ordered during dinner will be paid in full at check-out.・There are no convenience stores nearby, so it's best to buy things near the station before checking in. There is a vending machine inside the inn, but a can of Chuhai costs 400 yen, which is quite expensive.・Dinner is quite large. There are many different types. I think it's quite reasonable for 15,000 yen per person. Photo attached.・The only negative point was that I heard that the door to the room had an automatic lock, but perhaps it was broken and opened normally without using the key from outside. Therefore, I made sure to lock the door when I was in the room.

Most recently in March 2013I walked up the slope from the ski resort with my children to find the Sun Return Hot Spring here. It was a tight time at the time. We miscalculated that it would be so far to walk from the hot spring hotel to the station. We didn’t understand the language at the time. Unexpectedly, the hotel staff was there for us. After taking a dip in the soup, he proactively informed us that he was willing to take us to the station extra.I can't express the emotion I feel at the moment because I don't understand the language well.Thank you for giving me and my children unforgettable travel memories.I've stayed in so many hotels, but I've rarely encountered such human touch. In December 2023, we will travel to Japan again and sent Taiwanese souvenir pineapple cakes from Tokyo to the hotel staff. I hope you all receive our thanks. If I have the chance to return to Echigo-Yuzawa, I will definitely visit this warm place again.

The open-air bath in the room with free-flowing water and the food were simple but delicious and satisfying. However, if there is a screen door in the open air,

There are some negative reviews, but it seems like they are either nervous or overly demanding.I don't feel that the fact that it's old is a negative factor at all; it's clean and has a nice atmosphere. If you're looking for something new, wouldn't it be better to stay at a hotel?I stayed on the self-service plan. This plan does not allow employees to enter the room.I think it would be good to reduce labor costs.I think it will be difficult for inns to hire people in the post-corona era.A foreigner brought dinner to us and they were very nice. Also, the refrigerator and electric kettle are self-service.All the food was delicious, and I appreciated having it in my room. I talked to my mother, who is a chef, and I think a dinner in Tokyo would cost ¥8,000.Hot springs are the best in the past. The view was good, the sleeping bath, the water quality, the water temperature, the size, everything was relaxing. It's very quiet, so I think people with children can stay there without worrying about other people around them.I want to repeat it again!By the way, I was grateful for the shuttle service.

Accommodation on a self-planned plan where you prepare your own futon and serve the meals yourself. The location is great, overlooking the Shinkansen, mountains, and town, and you'll never get tired of looking at it.There are no complaints about the food that I have seen in other reviews.Hot items stayed warm.If I had to pick one, the mochi pork spare ribs had a bland taste compared to its appearance, but I could adjust it by adding salt for the rice. This time it was about 15,000 yen per person, but I was very satisfied. If I had spent more than 20,000 yen, I might have been dissatisfied with the meal.
