We were so glad we booked Teja Homestay! The staff were very friendly and couldn't do more to help you. The room was very clean and spacious. The location was great as you had lots of restaurants and shops near by. If we are in Ubud again, we would definitely book Teja Homestay!

I really didn't get why this place has such nice reviews. I stayed for 3 nights, but they put 2 towels, and when I put the towels on the floor hoping to change it to new towels, but what they did was just hanging the towels that I put on the floor.Actually the place's location is quite good, but the construction was going on at the front of the house, so you have to be careful not to fall on the big hole. There wasn't any breakfast which I really looked for, they no longer provide. The guy in this place was also not nice. He wasn't saying any goodbye or other things when I checked out.I will never recommend here. There are so many other options in cheaper and nicer places.Look at Korean people.Breakfast is no longer served. There are cheaper places nearby that offer breakfast, so there's no reason to choose this place. And a shower filter is essential. As soon as you turn on the shower with a shower filter, it turns black in 2 minutes. Even if I took a light shower, I had to change it every time.I stayed for 3 nights and at first I had 2 towels so I used them all and left them on the floor to ask for a replacement, but they hung them up again? A big surprise...The guy here seemed so friendly when I checked in, but he didn't even know me when I checked out. The world is cheap.. They must have made a lot of money, and the fish tank at the entrance is large and decent. I heard the average monthly salary of local people here is 30, so it's about 35,000 won per night for multiple rooms. They don't even provide breakfast, the price is the same, and they're really squeezing in as much money as they can.The guesthouse itself requires a bit of entrance, but there is construction going on on the way in, so you can barely drag a suitcase on the way in (you can't drag it to the side, you have to drag it from behind).I came here because of the good reviews, but I really regret it. Please, even Koreans, don’t go. Plus, I have to carry my room key with me^^

We loved our stay here! Couldn't asked for a better staying experience. Definitely a hidden gem 🤍Super friendly owner, immaculately clean & spacious room (which will also be cleaned up on daily basis), lovely environment with few birds and fish pond on the yard. Standard but delicious breakfast (omelette, fruits & hot tea), strategic location (right in the middle of Ubud) with friendly walking distance to Ubud's famous spots such as Ubud Palace, Saraswati Temple, Ubud Dalem Temple, Monkey Forest, etc.

From start to finish, my experience with the staff, facilities and airport pickup was exceptional! The gentleman who picked us up at the airport was very pleasant, polite, knowledgeable about the area and spoke a good amount of English. Because of our initial impressions, we decided to hire him for other excursions in the area. When we arrived at Teja Home Stay that evening, we were instantly impressed. From the beautiful property marked with several aquariums to the qualities and characteristics of our room, we knew we had made the correct choice for our one week stay in Ubud. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was much larger than many we have seen/used throughout our travels in Asia and the attached veranda was very charming and private. The staircase used to enter our room was designed for our use only. No one else needed to use it to access the upstairs area, which was very nice. The staff were all very friendly. Each morning we were greeted warmly with smiles and a delicious breakfast consisting of an omelet, toast, tea and an assortment of fresh fruits. There were inquiries as to whether or not we slept well (we slept like babies) and what plans we had for the day. All staff members were pleasant, interactive and approachable.Although the hotel is located on a relatively busy street, it is a good distance from the road and is very quiet, peaceful and serene. It’s conveniently located near many shops and restaurants, and it’s a great central location for walking around town or visiting some of the tourist attractions in the area.
