On a quiet side street but close to the center of Ubud. Private bungalows with private pool. Villa by exaggerating a bit. Breakfast can be eaten in the bungalow. Pool big enough, 1.50m deep and clean.

Stayed here July 2024. Nice quiet retreat from the bustle of Ubud. Very private space. Own pool , Comfy bed, mosquito net and nice outside sitting area. Breakfast was good and generous. The staff are friendly and helpful. Easy stroll to many restaurants and shops. Definitely will stay here again.

I recommend Ladera villa Ubud the staff is extraordinary and helps you with the slightest problem, if you want to have a great dark holiday. You are in the center of Ubud and everything is accessible on foot.People who post bad comments should be dear to them.

There is also a private pool, so for this price, I think it's a pretty good value for money. It's one block away from the noisy street, so it's a relatively quiet place, and there are many restaurants nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding a meal.

This villa and premises are very pristine and quiet. The pool in the villa is very relaxing especially when waking up to the sound of the little fountain going on! It is A short walk to restaurants, the centre, royal palace and Saraswati temple. The breakfast is limited but I enjoyed their nasi goreng. The only thing was the staff needed more customer service in my opinion, the owner didn't seem engaged at all when I asked him if he could arrange for any tours or taxi. He didn't even get back to me when he said he would. Also I left my universal adapter, they didn't bother to inform me or check the room after me, while I agree it is mostly my fault I realized all the hotels I stayed in thereafter, did run a check on the room before I checked out. The wifi was out for 2 days, and the staff didn't seem helpful only mentioned the government couldn't come fix it. I was thankful to have purchased a data package. Unfortunately, the lack of service and effort for me marred my other wise wonderful experience in Ubud.

In terms of satisfaction with the private pool, I would give it 6 stars, but since I had to share a room with a giant lizard, I shave one star off and give it 5 stars!The room location is good and I am overall satisfied.The bed mattress was good, but it was disappointing that the frame was old and made a loud noise every time it was moved.There are some bugs...I guess it's something that can't be helped since it's near the jungle.

4 ⭐ from me.Visited in November 2023Good Points1 Location2 Ubud market is walking distance from hotel.3 Lots of cafes and restaurants in the Lane.4 Spa, money exchange , rentals,tours and ATM in the Lane.5 Staff very kind and helpful.6 Basic open kitchen.7 Staff gives universal charging adaptor for charging the mobile and devices.8 Swimming pool and private pool are clean.Bad Points.1 No elevater to the villa from the parking, makes it difficult to take the luggage.2 Lizards can be seen in the lobby after evening time, but I think that is very common in Bali.3 Open bathroom and toilet concept which many are not comfortable with And can be difficult at night times.4. No Buffet breakfast but a fixed menu breakfast.

Good hotel but with limitations.The best thing is the location, practically in the center of Ubud, but far enough away to rest and relax.The room is spacious, but there are not enough closets or drawers to store things. The bed mosquito net is very useful, you will need it! The bed was also very comfortable.Having a private pool is a luxury, but the water was frozen (it doesn't get much sun).Having a pool causes a lot of insects at night, the hotel managers put mosquito repellent on both the terrace and the bathroom every evening, but it is not enough.The open bathroom is a point, but impractical, since it also filled with insects and bugs.Breakfast without more, they have a menu and you choose, but a little limited.The worst... the reptiles... I don't know if we had rats or giant salamanders! Every now and then, loads of that animal fall on the terrace, you were in the bathroom and you could hear something moving in the grass... we didn't know what it was, but it caused very little peace hehehe

Old shabby hotel with dirty small private swimming pool. Lots of insects & reptiles in the room. We couldn't sleep for loud noise outside at the middle of night. No proper redtaurent. Complimentary breakfast was pathetic. Will never book again nor recommend anybody.
