The bathroom was large, bright and the sanitary facilities were perfect. Unfortunately, the room itself was dark and had poor lighting. The WiFi doesn't work. Opinions may be divided about the taste of the furnishings. For visitors from Asia, the Buddha statues used as decoration are at least strange. Overall, I felt very uncomfortable in the atmosphere.

Thank you for the warm hospitality! Don't let the somewhat "angled" first impression fool you. Behind it is a very lovingly run hotel with clean and spacious rooms. We booked several rooms for a family celebration and all guests were completely satisfied. See you next time!

Yes, that's how I know the hotel... Very old, some things need to be replaced (bathroom fittings, etc.)... Breakfast very small, for 3€ more in 4* superior. Unfortunately there are no alternatives, the price is also bordering on 4* superior for more amenities in the room and a better location... The boss seems very stressed, but the stressful work is not reflected in the condition of the rooms and quality. But a very interesting and important aspect for business travelers: if you are looking for poor or no WiFi reception or poor WiFi reception without a data charge as an excuse for working from home every evening, you have come to the right place. Working impossible, Netflix etc. to switch off as TV programs felt non-existent also impossible. Therefore, the hotel in the dead city center offers the opportunity to go to bed very early and sleep late ;)

The room was just okay for the price. The breakfast was a complete disgrace for €14.90. Baked rolls, very thin coffee, hardly any choice of sweet spreads, fruit was moldy, no yoghurt. I would stay overnight again due to lack of alternatives, but would rather have breakfast at the bakery.

Our room was quite large and nicely and tastefully decorated. Basically it was clean, but the corners needed some dusting. The shower rod was broken, so we couldn't shower properly.The breakfast for €15 was very disappointing: bad coffee, little selection of cheese and sausage and poor quality. There were no eggs because the power went out that night.We were the last at breakfast. It was neither refilled nor the other guests' tables cleared.

Unfortunately my room was very dusty,Toilet still dirty from previous guest, beard hair from previous guests still on the shelf in the toilet.No smoke detector in the room, only dowel holes. Had to look for a new hotel, unreasonable there.

An absolute disgrace. Room 104, which is in another building across the street, was not only completely dirty, there was mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom... The mattress was already so worn out that it was torn on the side…

Old and warm hotel. The rooms are very cozy. The bed very comfortable. A few meters from the Neckar River and a few minutes from Heidelberg. Very good attention. I recommend it.

The room was great, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was rich. A big minus was the noise from the pedestrian zone. No car sticks to walking speed. In addition, the hotel does not have any parking spaces. The parking garage, which is still some distance away, was closed. The parking spaces in front of the house are only for 30 minutes, but you can only tell at the beginning of the pedestrian zone, or not.

So let's start with the positive, it's hard to read it all: The price was right... the service was very friendly, from reception to breakfast service... our room was spacious and tidy... the breakfast was also ok and sufficient... Although in my opinion the café could have been a little stronger... the ambience was harmonious and with attention to detail...Now, however, the negative and hence the deduction: we were traveling with our vintage car (Burgenstrasse) and the hotel has no parking spaces!!! The hotel could also be a bit clean... cobwebs in the stairwell and in the corners of the rooms... as an incentive I only give it 3 stars... just shy of four stars... but the hotel can't do anything about the noise on the street and will not be included in my rating!!!All in all, still recommended...

We were on a hike in the Art Hotel and would have expected a much more dusty atmosphere. Far from it, we were pleasantly surprised! The house has its own charm and surprised us with a large colonial-style room with a sofa and large bed and a nice bathroom. Everything in good condition and clean. Design is very consistent and not intentional. Breakfast was adequate and the very friendly, warm service completed the picture. Due to the location in the middle of town it's not always quiet but we would come here again! Thank you! Dogs welcome.

Breakfast overall OK.Muesli and rolls, okay. Yogurt and juice was delicious.Rooms are clean and cozy. Large bathroom including hairdryer and shower gel.A few small things in the room/bathroom could be improved.Price of €146 for overnight stay plus breakfast is too expensive in my opinion and is not in proportion to the price/performance.3 1/2 stars
