What an amazing stay we had at Villa Bambooz! The villa is stunning and in a really prime location, within walking distance to Ubud centre. There's also nice walks nearby through rice fields and a really lovely restaurant around the corner. The only downside was that it took a while to get correspondence from the host but as we got nearer the time, the host passed on contact details for the butler, Putu, and wow what a help he was! Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he recommended a really good driver for us who gave us a really great day out. He was on hand to check we were all having a good time and to see if there was anything we needed. There was also a cleaner and she left the villa spotless every day. All in all we had a great stay in Ubud and the villa and it's facilities were amazing, especially the pool which was amazing! I would look to book this place again if I returned to Ubud. Honestly, just book this place, it really does deserve more attention!!

A little less idyllic than in the owner's description. The staff is friendly and available, the villa is large and clean.On the other hand, very very noisy because the house is on the side of the road with continuous traffic and is not isolated and there are roosters at the neighbor's house who wake you up at 4:00 in the morning. In addition, a villa is being built right next door: very noisy every day very early, and a lack of privacy given the proximity

We stayed at Villa Azim for 5 nights. It's a 10 minute walk to the centre of town. The Villa is quite new and has a unique character, with extensive use of Bamboo in the construction. The pool is amazing and allows for a proper swim. The beds were comfortable, the wifi fast and showers awesome. The whole place is air conditioned which was nice.
