Another wonderful stay at Alam Indah. Set in the most beautiful gardens you can imagine. Staff are all wonderful. Breakfast is huge and delicious. The pool was always quiet despite hotel being booked out. We had our 2 preschool kids with us and they loved just admiring all the flowers (and monkeys) in the gardens. Great location gorgeous village with plenty of eateries to go to. Hotel food was delicious too. Free shuttle into town but town is crazy best to avoid and enjoy other areas. Easy to get Gojek pick ups. The rooms are all different choose carefully some better than others. Great mosquito nets (didn’t see any).

Alam Indah is a beautiful oasis that is heaven to escape to after the business of Ubud. Our room was large and comfortable with a really big balcony overlooking the Monkey Forest. …

The Alam hotels in Ubud are by far our favourite places to stay. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The grounds are absolutely beautiful , the staff are fantastic- honestly the whole experience staying here is unforgettable. We have stayed at Alam Indah, Jiwa and Shanti, and all three hotels are amazing. It is so peaceful here too despite a 10 minute walk (dodging the monkeys) into busy Ubud town. There is also the option to get a free shuttle into town which is fabulous. There are plenty of lovely places to eat and chill locally too which we preferred anyway as they were quieter compared to eating in town.Highly recommend!!

In all my travels, this is truly the most beautiful place I have stayed. I had the chance to spend 4 days there and I lived a dream. It's lush with tropical plants and jungle just behind, you don't know where to look because it's so beautiful. When I saw the room with the terrace (Pisang suite), I was so delighted and charmed! With a view of a tropical garden. And it's calm! Just the sounds of nature, it's so calming. The swimming pool is magnificent with a view of the jungle behind and a suspension bridge below where I saw around fifty monkeys passing by. Awesome! The hotel is adjacent to the Ubud monkey forest so it is not uncommon to see them. Moreover, as soon as I had put my luggage down and left for a walk, I came across some after a few seconds.I finish with the staff to whom I say a very big thank you for all this kindness, this thoughtfulness at all times, these smiles. Thanks to the equally lovely housekeeping staff who clean your entire room and bathroom while you have breakfast. It's nice when you go back! And to the cooks who delighted me with all the breakfasts, and even cooked me a dish well after the end of service one evening. You were all adorable and on point.I know that I will return to Bali and that for my next visit to Ubud, I will book again in this magical place.I told my loved ones that heaven couldn't be more beautiful. Thanks again.Stéphane

We don't even know where to start raving... We stayed at Alam Indah Ubud for 4 days and it was wonderful! The breakfast was very great (granola, smoothie bowls, freshly squeezed juices, omelettes, pancakes, etc.). The rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. What really sets Alam Indah apart is its location. Even though there are quite a few rooms, you don't notice it. The grounds are interspersed with beautiful gardens and plants at various levels. The staff was incredibly courteous and friendly and helped in any way they could. It should also be highlighted that there is a laundry service (for a fair surcharge, takes about a day) and a free transfer to the center of Ubud (must be announced one hour in advance). In summary: It was a dream. If we come to Ubud again, we will definitely stay in this hotel.

The most beautiful place we have ever been to. Magical gardens delight you at every turn. The houses you live in are truly luxurious works of art. And a place where you eat delicious breakfasts is like magic in another world, and these delicious banana pancakes - this dish deserves a Michelin star. You must visit this place. If God willing, we will be in Bali again, we will definitely visit there. Thank you for the time spent there 🥰🤩

I’ve traveled the world and been to many amazing hotels, but this one is in my top favorites. To the point where I want to come back to Ubud specifically so I can stay at this hotel. Location is ideal. It borders the Monkey Forest (so your view from the pool, and rooms if you booked properly, is of the forest itself including monkey sightings), but on the quieter side so your close to everything without being in the chaos. The grounds are gorgeous with the gardens and landscaping. At night, you don’t hear any motorbikes or late night cafes, just the sounds of nature. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable, and I really appreciated how private they are.I can’t emphasize enough how delightful the staff is, with such quality and genuine service. Also, they drop you off and pick you up anywhere around town. That was so convenient. Breakfast was included and the food was amazing. They served afternoon tea/coffee with cake too which was a very nice touch. You will not regret booking here.

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, beautiful, quiet swimming pool. About 130 meters from the main path so it is very quiet and pleasant. Afternoon tea is served with cake which is a nice touch. …

Lovely place to stay while at Ubud. Beautiful garden and a comfortable room for your sleeps. It's close to nature which means you get the full-blown nature experience, including insects, geckos, and monkeys. So expect these and enjoy the experience. Despite this, I've never been annoyed by the insects at Alam Indah. (note - I hate mosquitoes, so the provision of mosquito coil is very much appreciated! With that and the use of some repellent, I've not been bitten at Alam Indah.)I'm a city person and am used to city hotels with the usual amenities like in-room coffee. You don't get it but no matter as you can arrange to have coffee delivered to your room! Here, I learned to slow down and wait. You can also collect drinking water from the reception for your own use which is great as it gives you a chance to interact with the lovely people at Alam Indah!Free transport is available from Alam Indah but you also have the option to use the Monkey Forest foot/motorbike path to go into town. It's really convenient! At the back of the hotel you can use a short and gentle footpath to easily reach restaurants, cafes, warungs, and massage places along Jalan Nyuh Bojong, or walk slightly further to more places along Jalan Nyuh Bulan.Thank you to Alam Indah for an enjoyable stay and I'll be back!
