Hotel in a green setting in the center of Ubud. Despite this location, the rooms are very quiet and the bedding is good. Good quality breakfast is served on the room balcony. …

The value is good if you book the bungalows in second floor with balcony or the one with pool view. It's in Ubud center (if you really need that) and is calm and has a great garden. The pool is small but nice as surrounded by paradise garden. Thé pricier bungalows are made with traditional balinese style, very charming. Now , the regular, cheapest rooms next to réception are not good value for money at all. For 82 euros per night in Bali, even in Ubud, one should have a much better room than this: The bathroom continuously smelled of humidity, as has no ventilation except towards thé room. Tiles are old and have suffered, the bathtub dates probably from the 80s and had not been cleaned and was dirty, i had to clean it myself with a dettol wipe a d never used it. Each Time someone uses water, you Can hear The water pump outside for a while, doing a bumping noise. The bed was quite incomfortable ( not bouncy at all, not hard but definitely not supporting tour body)and smelled damp too, though clean. The aircon unit is noisy because old, even with earbuds all night you can hear it. No ventilation possible without airrcon during The night. Fan is weak a air simple does not circulate. Si terrible nights between heat and cold all The time. The private terrace is not privateat all as it seems from thé pics , as its by the side of thé pathway linking réception to other bungalows and thus continuously staff and guards pass by for daily chores and looks on you relaxing. Thé breakfast is ok but def not worth the100k it costs. Though the staff is nice, there are no real services offered by the hôtel. They let thé grab delivery Guy go to my room instead of réceptioning the pack at réception. I asked only once for help for my ongoing trip (to get driver) and the were kinda lost, as if i had asked for the moon, they dont have a network management of drivers.i managed myself. Thé day of departure no help was offered to get my 3 bags to thé street ( hôtel is 130 mètres from Street). For the regular rooms, either a rénovation is nécessary , or a steep cut in price. But the worst was one of the male staff, who from day one spoke to me as if we were best friends, asked about salaries in my country and asked if i had my own house, amongst other personal questions.I was polite and nice, and asked if i was travelling alone and said ' ahhh you are a strong woman'.... but at one point i felt thèse questions were highly inapropriate. Thé rest of thé time i was stressed avoiding interactions with him. He greeted me every time inapropriately with great heeeeys and haaaaaays and proposing his hand liké in 'high five ', which i avoided. Very disturbing. I was glad to leave. I suppose men or couples don't get this. So no, i cant recommend this room and hôtel as it is right now.

The hotel is located back from the road where cars pass by, and as there are only a few rooms, it is a very calming place. …

Hearty and family facility. Super friendly service. Despite the very central location, it is very quiet as it is a bit back. Breakfast on the terrace and the possibility of ordering evening meals on the terrace are available.Would come again!

· We were very comfortable as a couple with a young baby sharing a two bedroom villa. The pool was small but clean and generally quiet and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and had a comfortable, soft bed. Breakfast was excellent - worth having rather than venturing out. Staff were friendly, kind and helpful. Good wifi with speed comparable to a mobile 4G hotspot. Airy bathrooms. Good AC.The hotel has a free shuttle bus that can take you within central Ubud - it's not clearly advertised but worth using if you have a family/group.Things to considerThe baby cot we had didn't come with a mattress - we used the blanket from the bed.By far the most expensive 'in house' laundry service - most other hotels in Bali have charged us IDR15-25/kg. This service was confusingly priced per item and seemed to be a general figure at the end. All our items were cleaned well but it was the only real downside.TIPSBe aware that, like many places, this is set back a 2 minute walk from the road so can be hard to find when you first visit. Look for a space just big enough for 1 car on the south side of the green Jalan Jalan Spa. There are a few small steps down on the ~2min walk.
