Lovely, quiet Balinese style property with modern rooms. The hosts Cito and Sri are kind people and I wish I got more chances to talk to them.The housekeeping staff is also very friendly. The complimentary breakfast served in my balcony was delicious. The location is quiet yet pretty close to the town center.Overall, great value for money.

We just had the most incredible 11-night stay at Cito Guesthouse in Room Asoka – it was absolutely AWESOME! The place is spotless, and the staff couldn't be friendlier.✨ The room is very clean, and it is set up for remote work with sufficient WiFi. You can find security cameras, parking for motorbikes, and a shared kitchen that comes with a fridge and water station (it could be very helpful if you want to avoid having Bali belly). It is nestled on a tranquil street, a quick scooter ride away from the main street.✨ Staff are super super friendly, they always greet us with genuine smiles. One thing to note is that when I mentioned the shower pressure wasn't enough for my hair (very long haha), Cito even installed a new shower head the same day! Also, Cito helped us to arrange airport pick up at late night and waited for us to arrive, very appreciated!✨ The room is located on the second floor, and surrounded by tropical trees. We enjoyed every moment when looking out of the windows and the birds chirping. The inhouse temples also added extra touch of Bali charm!✨ For breakfast, it is delicious! We cannot stop talking how much we miss it. The pineapple pancake is a highlight 😋!✨ Occasionally there are few kittens and a cat mummy walking around, they are just super cute.✨ On a side note, if you are up for food challenge, there is delicious Bakso (so spicy and authentic) sold by a small cart opposite during lunch time, and Sate Babi sold down the road (walk out of Cito's place and turn right, just less than 30 seconds walk!) 😋!We couldn't recommend Cito Guesthouse enough, and we are also looking forward to having another stay when travelling to Ubud in the future.Another note: it is sad that Airbnb does not allow us to publish a review after 14 days of checking out, hence posting here to share our experience. ❤️

I am late ( sorry about that) to write this review, but let me say this.. Cito and all his family was very kind and understanding and went out of their way to help me.My phone was stolen on the way to Bali making it very hard to communicate when my flight was delayed. Cito was so kind and understanding. Even drove me personally to get a new phone. And to make sure I had everything I needed even when I asked him about the best spa I should try.Room was super clean breakfast was great and the location is super ! Right in the middle of Ubud! I was able to walk from the house all the way to the mi key forest in about 30 minutes taking my time.Many places to stop and eat ( juice Ja cafe is nearby and my favorite!) and to shop if you need anything.I felt always safe as a solo traveler.Thank you Cito and family and sorry for the late review.

favorite place to stay in Ubud. It’s amazing here, calm, excellent internet, cool room and garden, and most importantly, very kind and decent hosts of the guesthouse. you will have the opportunity to relax here and feel safe and comfortable, and they will always tell you if you don’t know something and will help you with everything

AMAZING! All the staff at Cito’s Guesthouse were so kind, attentive and helpful! I loved my stay because of everyone’s kindness. :) Cito and his wife Sri would often give me fruit and check in on me. They were super quick to answer any of my questions and issues. I loved how I got more of a local experience here! Plus, their kids are adorable!This place is so quiet, clean and close to everything you need! This place is definitely a hidden gem :)The included breakfast was great too!

I stayed at cito guesthouse for 2 weeks. It's a bit far from Ubud Palace, so it's quiet in the evening. I recommend it to people who don’t like complicated things.The space is clean, and the staff cleans it every day. Also, since breakfast was included, I was able to start my day with a delicious yet simple meal every day. It was nice to be able to choose the menu, time, etc. in detail. All of the staff were very friendly and greeted me in a friendly manner.It was nice to have a small balcony, table, and chairs in every room, and I especially enjoyed the room with a small private kitchen, where I enjoyed cooking.Due to the nature of the Bali region, there are naturally lizards and ants. I also encountered frogs occasionally, but I was fine.

Cito and his team are super friendly. THE location a bit away from the noisy street ensures a peaceful sleep. The property borders directly on the jungle with banana trees, coconut palms and lots of sounds. Breakfast is ordered on a piece of paper at a desired time and is great. The way to Ubud center is difficult on foot, as there are no proper footpaths and a lot of traffic. You may also have to make minor compromises in terms of cleanliness, but overall a very good price/performance ratio.

Great experience with Cito Guest House. Fantastic hosts Mr. Cito and his wife Mrs. Sri made me feel welcomed and at home. They are very friendly, easy approachable, super kind.Guest house is in traditional Balinese style. The view of the room is stunning. The breakfast is served into ur room every morning. This meal is yummy 😋Very quite neighborhood, which is of huge advantage. In the room, u have a guide book with all in-house rules, suggestions for tours, restaurants, cafes and spas. Very thoughtful. Definitely worth coming back!!!

Great stay, in a good location! Just tucked off the main road away from busy traffic, but only a 10-15min walk to the centre. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.Breakfast is served daily to your room (choice of eggs or fruit pancakes, toast, fruit bowl, tea/coffee).Staff are very friendly and helpful with any need you may have!

Saw some squirls jumping from one big leaf to another) staff is friendly and supportive. Breakfast is really tasty and rich)

This is our second month living in this Guest House. The Chito family is very welcoming, friendly, polite, they are always happy to help us. The territory of the Guest House is always clean and calm. We always feel comfortable, like welcome guests. There is a lot of greenery on the territory 🌴The Guest House is located near the center. There is absolutely no noise from the road, which is a huge plus.Thank you 🙌 100% recommend 🙏🫶

I stayed in the top level room, Cempaka, facing the jungle. What a wonderful view from a beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable room!Early every morning, I threw open the balcony doors then went back to lay in bed. With the cool breeze blowing in, it was magical.Highly recommend!!Will stay here anytime I'm in Ubud again.*There is also a shared kitchen in an adjacent building.
