The hotel has its own large parking lot, rooms spread over six floors, swimming pool and sauna available, staff very friendly and helpful, WiFi unfortunately doesn't work well at all, color improvements in the rooms are unfortunately visible and somewhat ruin the good impression.Quietly located in a residential area, about 15 minutes down the street from town.

I quickly experienced, yes, really experienced, an overnight stay at the Hotel Steinsgarten, Best Western, because it really was an experience. I really liked it. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly, courteous, respectful and very respectful and appreciative of us as guests. In the basement I even had the opportunity to visit the hotel's own small swimming pool, which was included in the total price, after dinner. I liked it very much. On the one hand, it was small and manageable in size and yet big enough to feel comfortable and have enough space to change clothes and enjoy the swimming event. As soon as I entered, I noticed the really successful and great wall painting about the upcoming event: lots of fish and sea creatures cavorting in the sea water depicted there. Almost thought I was at the sea. Nice quiet music in the background, the water pleasantly warm. It was a real pleasure to swim laps here for half an hour. And all this in a really soothing, quiet atmosphere. Bathing was really relaxing.Afterwards the swimming pool was equipped with really nice and large changing rooms. It was also equipped with a wonderful experience shower with many setting options. Then I was even able to discover the child in me - In the first step, I colored the water using the switch on the Deamer. The intensity and variety of colors that could be taken into account with the Deamer was really beautiful and exciting. Then I tried the different levels of water intensity and the quality of the water coming out of the shower: At the beginning I enjoyed the water drops, until at the end I enjoyed the water jet the most - and in doing so I tested and experienced all the watercolor lighting available to me. The shower was really a great highlight. Thanks to the hotel at this point, it turned into a really great and eventful visit to the swimming pool that really appealed to my senses and perception. He also managed to give me an extraordinary amount of joy and, at the same time, fun. I was particularly lucky that I was able to use, research, explore and experience the swimming pool and shower all to myself that evening. That was an unplanned, but additional, wonderful hotel gift.In the evening, after visiting the swimming pool, I went for a short evening walk in the beautiful hotel park that belongs to the house. There are very old and wonderful chestnut trees and an equally old spruce tree. It was really beautiful and impressive, with these big, old and beautiful, magnificent and large chestnut trees. On the horizon I saw the sun setting in the firmament, which made the overall impression of this small, beautiful park even more intense. The park appeared to be very well maintained and yet at the same time unspoilt, thanks to the selection and arrangement and design of the plants. After this really great impression and experience, I went to my room where I watched a great old film on TV and then spent a wonderful and quiet night. The following late morning I packed up my utensils with calm and composure. There was a pleasant amount of time to pack. Here, as in the other areas shown, the hotel has shown a lot of empathy towards its guests. After checking out, I slept well and left the hotel in a good mood. I really enjoyed staying at the Best Western Plus Hotel Steinsgarten in Giessen and would be happy to come back here again if necessary - thank you very much!A. Köhler from Winterthur

Clean room, delicious breakfast with a lot of choice. Very friendly staff. Conveniently located for us, we could easily walk into town in the evening to eat, walk in the old cemetery or drive to the venue. There was also parking space.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time this weekend. We felt extremely comfortable again, which is also very much due to the staff. You have the feeling of being welcome. We had half board, the dinner was very tasty and the breakfast was also very good. The sheep's cheese (no feta) & the rolls from the bakery were very tasty. The hotel bar currently has a happy hour from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. - all drinks 50% off. There was a power socket on each side of the beds. The swimming pool is very nicely decorated.Negative: no XXL bathrobes availableVery easy to reach for those arriving by train. Short walk about 8 minutes from the Berliner Platz stop.Even though Giessen has a lot worth seeing, it's worth a trip to Bad Nauheim (beautiful, quiet town in the footsteps of Elvis).
