We did not rely on online check-in and instead checked in on site with the staff as the originally assigned room was not yet prepared for the next guest. Luckily we got a new room. Imagine if we had gone into the room at 2:00 a.m. using only the online check-in PIN – that would have been very inconvenient.

I had a very unpleasant conversation with the hotel. Unfortunately we had to cancel our booking (my husband's surgery was postponed). There was zero goodwill shown and zero friendliness. The lady was very unsympathetic and rude and said it was not “her problem” that we had to change our plans at short notice. I also suggested that we stay there one day later, but she was so rude that we decided otherwise. We didn't get the money back, even though the hospital rescheduled the appointment at short notice and I kindly called in time. Very unfortunate. We will never stay there.

The room was small but perfectly fine. Reception is in the morning. Otherwise, the hotel operates online. I liked it, but the traffic in the area is terrible.

The B&B in Giessen was very clean and definitely worth the price. Booking was easy and there was no need to check out by using codes, which saved a lot of time. Very pleasant stay!

Good proximity to the train station and the center. Great communication. Price/performance ratio ok for a short stay. Beds are rather narrow at 80cm. Room was near the entrance area. Otherwise adjoining room but quiet.

Location in the city center, so everything is within walking distance. Staff friendly. The rooms are completely sufficient for a city trip, but the cleaning is poor. The beds are not made. It's body hair from the previous person in the shower. Old socks from the previous owner under the bed. So the room cleaning needs urgent work.

I like to take advantage of the opportunity to stay in a B&B hotel when I'm traveling and a parking space is offered. You can expect to get a comfortable bed and a clean room. The breakfast buffet also meets the standard. The TG pitch is cheap at €6, but the entrance is very narrow.

Overall I was satisfied as always, you know what you are getting at b&b.This time, however, I still had a few hairs in the shower and my room had an awkward orientation towards the street and train.Unfortunately, the parking situation in Gießen is confusing (many parking garages, few cheap ones) and I only noticed the hotel's own parking garage when I checked in. Here, however, the entrance with a curve is so narrow that I certainly wouldn't have fit in with my big car (Seat Alhambra).Overall, I slept well, the bed was comfortable and nice and big, unfortunately the TV only worked reliably on 3-4 channels, the remaining channels had interference signals (either the sound was gone, the picture was blurry or both).The room was very dark and quiet with the window and curtains closed, so you can relax.

Location is walking distance to downtown. Rooms are small but clean.Service is not great. I wanted to change the 2 twin bed room with a 1 double bed; they didn't accept except to cancel the booking with no refund and charge me again (so that would be paying twice!).Reception not available after 10 pm.
