The single room was clean, but totally overpriced for the size and comfort, a hole with a window (room 9), the only nice thing was the shower! It's also unacceptable that as a guest in the restaurant (at Christmas time) you are turned away at 10 p.m. because it's closing! The service was nice, but unfortunately also inattentive and asked me to pay without asking and without an invoice. Unfortunately, this is all true when the tourists are there, but for how long?! In our federal capital, every Ibis hotel is better! It's beautiful here in Rüdesheim, but next time I won't be so spontaneous when choosing the local hotel.Finally... the mini television had two remote controls, but neither of them did its job 50% of the time.Morning addendum:My review was read by the hotel and when I checked out I was given a bottle of wine as a small apology. This doesn't make the room any nicer, but it's a very nice gesture. Thank you very much for that.

We stayed in this hotel from September 29th, 2024 to October 1st, 2024. We received a very friendly welcome there and had a very nice and large superior room. The breakfast was very varied and very tasty. There is something for everyone. The food was also very good and lovingly prepared. The owner, his family members and the other employees were very polite, competent and very helpful.You can buy good wines there and take them with you.Conclusion: Unreserved recommendation.

The bathroom was in need of renovation, the room was small and stuffy. Breakfast rooms too small and overloaded as only 2 hours were possible. Dinner very good. The service was also very friendly and good.

Very good food, but waited 2 hours for it - not possible! With such a long wait, a courtesy in the form of a coffee or nightcap on the house would have been more than appropriate.

The pictures speak for themselves... when you opened the door it smelled strange, until you saw the mold in the bathroom it was clear where it came from. There were also some mold spots on the ceiling! Never vacuumed under the bed... and some kind of film... Hair, dust, etc. in the room.There was no room cleaning or anything like that and that for over €100 a night without breakfast. Never again for both business and private purposes!!!

Well, for one night, you can do that. We shared the bathroom with two men. Shower towels that were a bit disgusting!!!Great view of the Rhine!!!The woman who welcomed us (not the owner) was super nice and we were also grateful that her husband brought us butter and milk from the supermarket 🙏👍

In this country it is actually unusual to pay upon arrival. When I then wanted to see the room, I had to leave my ID card, even though I had booked it with all the information in advance, very unpleasant and unfriendly. Withholding personal information is actually prohibited. I'm German and Hesse, and not a Clochard, and I didn't look like one either.The room was small as expected, but satisfactory, although with a few small defects, shower too small, you constantly bump into the single lever mixer, which then switches between scalding and freezing cold, no shelf. Thermostatic faucets with anti-scald protection would be affordable. Ceiling light funky/half broken, paper cups in the bathroom, two-liter kettle with a paper cup.I also ate, the bread with the very good cheese was dried out, I had to complain, but the young waiter was very friendly and helpful. Wine excellent.Overall I was quite satisfied and would come back.Breakfast 10€, parking 15€, everyone has to decide for themselves.Price-performance ratio for EZ Basic is just acceptable, it's just Rüdesheim.

I can only recommend the “Green Wreath”. Clean rooms, very good food and super friendly and accommodating staff... if you come by bus, it's 2 minutes to the hotel, huge parking lot and a bargain for 8€/day

Well, what can I say, the area around the hotel is extremely beautiful and worth a visit for the small thaler, but you shouldn't expect too much when it comes to the room.Normally the water bottles are free in hotels, but unfortunately not here. The cleanliness in the room wasn't the best either, especially since mold was forming in the bathroom due to the constant humidity. The cable connection from the TV would also have to be checked again because the picture keeps breaking off (satellite reception), and unfortunately the refrigerator was also missing.The staff was super friendly and a visit to the restaurant was worth it given the nice weather, a thumbs up for that ;)

We visited here in August 2024 with several people and several rooms.From the layout and at first glance, the room looked very good, the bathroom was modern and the facilities with instant coffee and a kettle were better than expected.Unfortunately, our room had moisture stains, if not mold, and was dirty. The same thing was reported in 3 out of 5 rooms as well as a room change because it was so serious.It's an old half-timbered structure where everything is crooked and crooked. It's not easy in a drunken head to associate that with the broken legs, but it also has charm. The bathroom was straightened with a bathtub.Shortly before arrival we received an email that parking spaces were available at a price of €15 per day, which is why we were already looking for alternatives. These are available! It is possible to walk about 10-15 minutes free of charge.When we arrived at reception we were told that parking was completely impossible in town and a bet was made that we wouldn't get a parking space.We could also completely forget breakfast in town, as there would only be one bakery and it would be completely looted by 6 a.m. and we should book breakfast for €16 per day. The parking lot was even overbooked. You were allowed to pay but were not given a parking space.What was tried is obvious but there is one star for the service.Bakery is about 5 minutes walk away. If there are no more sandwiches left, the nice lady there will be happy to make some for you. As already mentioned, parking is not a problem if you walk a few meters.The location is great. It's less than 5 minutes to the market square, but the hotel is still a bit out of the way so you don't have to be the last one at a wine festival to be able to sleep. I can only recommend tours with the ferries. Nice castle tour or with the cable car are great.In terms of price, the hotel is probably OK for a tourism stronghold, but it is probably a nice price if I exclude everything that other hotels otherwise include. But it would be nice to be clean and mold-free.
