Good, clean hotel within easy reach of the motorway.A good breakfast buffet, at the usual price, in a cozy atmosphere offers a good start to the day.The rooms are a manageable size, you can feel the British parent company in the bed, there is only one blanket, but a selection of pillows.Nestled between office buildings, it has a quiet location. Since you cannot park on the surrounding streets, you have to rely on the hotel's own underground car park (charges apply) or the neighboring car park.A good overnight alternative for Darmstadt.

Premier Inn is slowly becoming my favorite chain of budget hotels. Darmstadt was no exception. I like the standard warm or cool blankets in the rooms, which are decorated in beautiful colors anyway. The staff at reception is helpful and friendly, the breakfast is impeccable.The area is a little bit desolate, but it's right next to the train station.

We chose to stay here now, when we returned to Darmstadt, only because the price was low, but since we arrived, they didn't receive us even though we had booked a room on Booking. We arrived at 10 o'clock, after 20 hours of driving, and they told us to come back at 12 o'clock, because then the rooms will be free. But when we came back at 12, they said they had rooms, but we have to pay another €15, because check-in is at 3 p.m. After a lot of insistence, they accepted us. Everywhere in the hotel access is based on the card, if you forget it somewhere, stay out. Then, the cleaners also woke us up, in the conditions in which we were tired, working at night. Our entire stay here was an absolute disaster. I do not recommend under any circumstances.

I stayed at the Premier Inn for work, it is a decent business hotel, the service and facilities of the hotel are as good as expected, breakfast was also plentiful and there was enough for every taste.

The hotel chain from England has not been around in Germany for that long. More houses are also being added. The concept and the price/performance ratio are right. We are currently working on a few British standards that don't really fit here in Germany, e.g. only a blanket on the double bed or a carpet in the room, etc. I'm just wondering what's going on with the customers. The hotel is not that expensive but does that mean you have to live in the rooms like vandals? Here in Darmstadt we saw a customer taking his bike into his room, or breakfast where it wasn't intended, in the lounge where the carpet was messed up. Where is the customers' nursery? Just because you pay doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. I keep my fingers crossed that solutions will be found here. This would be an ideal hotel, especially for city trips or business trips. We'd love to come back.
