The rooms are excellent, I have rarely had such a large and beautiful room in a hotel! The staff is very nice and does everything possible for the guest to make the stay pleasant. The location is Bad Brückenau, so nothing but nothing going on there, but peace and quiet and forest all around. Unfortunately, restaurants in the area are closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and some even on Wednesdays, so you have to drive to Fulda or stay in the hotel. The stars deducted are because of the breakfast, because I'm simply used to better things in my private life, but I also have to say that I haven't had a hotel that catered to my breakfast habits. I just need good sausages and rolls. I'm very particular about that, but I don't give up hope that hotels in general will save less here and turn to real butchers and bakers instead of wholesalers.

Idyllically located hotel with its own small but nice wellness area as well as a tasty selection of dishes at the breakfast and dinner buffet.

Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the stay at the hotel as it was not possible due to what I believe was a lack of flexibility. The plan was to use a voucher from Jochen Schweizer and extend it by one night for a short trip on a weekend in about 2 months. The voucher was a gift and has already been paid for, but unfortunately I was no longer offered a room for it this year on a weekend due to a lack of quotas. However, there are still plenty of rooms available online for booking inquiries via relevant providers. Despite the planned extension beyond the voucher, the hotel was unable to accommodate. This is not optimal and, in my opinion, does not speak for the quality of the cooperation with or the offers from Jochen Schweizer. In general, unfortunately, I had the feeling that I was just a third-class customer.

Service is still very important here.We spent the birthday weekend there - from Saturday to Monday. The rooms are large, even nicer than in the photos, the beds are super comfortable, the bathroom is large and well thought out, there is enough storage space and hangers, etc.All around top!The only downside was the food.We had booked half board and despite notifying us twice by telephone about various intolerances AND written correspondence (weeks before check-in), it was not possible to get anything edible on the first evening and the next morning. If we hadn't had the foresight to bring something with us "for emergencies", it would have been a very hungry 24 hours... so at least we had a roll.Watching everyone else stuff themselves while you sat in front of a cold plate of salad (for your birthday!) was pretty uncool. After the "food mishap" was solved by the hotel lady (Mrs. W.) on Saturday after the "no breakfast", there was a top-class 4-star dinner and a very good breakfast on Monday.Despite the breakdown, the full price was charged, but there was a bottle of champagne as a gift, a sincere apology and the promise that things would go better next time. Not perfect but close.

A beautiful park hotel with castle charm. There is an old part with high ceilings, stucco decorations and vaulted ceilings, as well as a new area with modern furnishings. The service was extremely friendly. On the day of arrival, an a la carte meal was prepared for us outside of kitchen hours. Thank you again for that :)The breakfast was rich with a few regional specialties. The evening menu was delicious. The treatments in the attached spa with fitness area were relaxing and soothing. We had massages and skin treatments, which were all very successful. The environment is quiet. The hotel is located directly in the spa park, which is very well maintained. We walked some hiking trails with our dog. The area is wooded and there are a few attractions in the area.Overall it was a nice, quiet vacation. We'll be back :)
