The first room I booked there was an impossibility. There was mold on the wall in the bedroom and bathroom, the shower head was so calcified that it wasn't actually possible to shower. But the worst thing was that there were a lot of crushed, dead bed bugs on the wall in the room and also walking around alive. After the first night we got a new room but I still have the bed bugs at home.Request for feedback.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. The room I occupied was dirty, not soundproof. The noisy street. Breakfast almost non-existent. I paid €292 for 2 nights and €6.90 per breakfast.Flee !!!

As such, it is a fairly central location with good accessibility.The reception is theoretically staffed from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.Cleanliness is a completely different issue. The shower was not clean and full of lime stains, the toilet had urine splashes on the floor. The please clean sign is “overlooked” unless you tell reception that you would like your room cleaned.Before you check in, your ID will be copied, supposedly because the police would ask for it up to 1 year after your stay. By law it is illegal to copy an ID document, here it is essential, otherwise you won't get the room. The ID card is supposedly archived “only” for one year.Drinks are available in the entrance area and are about the same price as a kiosk.The bed was okay, only the thick winter blanket makes absolutely no sense given the temperatures...My curtains were hung the wrong way around, so I had to choose between privacy and light.There was an open cover box in the entrance to my room and various minor wall damage could also be seen, such as grazing marks from suitcases and water damage on the ceiling...The first night I couldn't sleep; my room was easily over 30°C even at night! The second night was a little cooler.Every stairwell, floor and entrance area is completely under video surveillance. Whether customers want to be included continuously or not is not asked here. At least there were no cameras or bugs in my own room...There is no documented check-out because the cameras would record that you have returned the key.Overall, I'm leaving with mixed feelings.

Unfortunately, the room was not clean and the bathroom was clearly too small. It was difficult to get to the shower as the toilet was in the way. During the shower the floor became very wet as the curtain was not positioned to keep the water out.The water temperature fluctuated between too hot and too cold due to the faucet regulator not working well.There were also two open electrical outlets in the bathroom, one of which was near the sink. There is a serious risk of electric shock due to the humidity in the bathroom.The door to the room seemed like we were staying in a construction site; it was stuck and required a lot of force to open.Additionally, there was no smoke detector in the room, meaning there would be significant danger in the event of a fire. Overall, the safety standards appear to be inadequate.A stay that we will definitely not repeat.

The room is incredibly dirty. No matter whether in the bathroom, where everything was full of limescale, the floor was also dusty and full of hair and stains...There were several hairs on the bed, there was a huge film of dust on the dessert table, all the walls were full of stains.The duvet had dark red stains and other indefinable stains.the room was directly at the reception, you understood every word that was exchanged there..In addition, you couldn't sleep in the morning because there was already loud music playing and people were talking loudly.In addition, which has nothing to do with the hotel itself, you could hear the subway loudly and the whole floor was vibrating.I'm extremely disappointed and slightly disgusted with the hotel... I've never experienced anything so dirty.

We expected very little for the price, but we found bed bugs in our room, a total disaster, it was disgusting, we didn't sleep in our room because they came from everywhere. Rooms are dirty, some have mold and some of the room furnishings are broken. We also didn't feel safe because the front door was left open all night and no one from reception was there. Tiles in the bathroom are broken and coming off, the floor wasn't cleaned and we found hair everywhere.

I was worried reading the reviews, but my stay (7 nights) was impeccable. The desk people were friendly and helpful and made efforts to communicate with anyone not German speaking (myself and Spanish guys checking in while I waited). Yes it can be a bit noisy since the back of the hotel has the train station in eyesight. The shower is a little small and yes there's no fridge in the room. Bed was comfortable and clean.

I recently booked and paid for a stay online for June. Due to a technical error on the booking site, my reservation was postponed to July. After several telephone attempts to resolve this misunderstanding with both the website operator and the employee at “The Place”, I was received unfriendly and my problem was not taken seriously. When I asked for a cancellation, they didn't respond to me and so they simply pocketed the fee I had paid and ignored me on further phone calls. So I would like to warn visitors about this place and recommend not booking a stay here.

A hole, I've been to many hotels for work. Thought the place was a chain, I had great experiences in Mannheim, but here it was exactly the opposite. My room was directly under the roof. On the way there, power cables came out of the ceiling. My bathroom was in the hallway, a shared bathroom and the hot water didn't work. I go into way too much detail. But I won't go to the hotel again.

My laptop IP is tracked. The Wi-Fi deny my using. Staff doesn’t work on my problem. I’m urgent. Waste my own network n extra money. I need it to be fixed.in Berlin I said don’t let me see the faces below. UK British hotel gives free coffee sample everytime. When I saw coffee charged €2, know it’s not a good sign.

Can hardly understand the negative comments.Room is noisy but still clean. I had a bathroom in the room. For the price you won't find anything better in ffm.Staff polite and friendly.At night no stranger can enter the building without a key.

The room and hallways were dirty and my friend and I found hair and lipstick marks on the pillows and sheets. The shower is a single wall and a very dirty curtain in the room. Additionally, the floor is completely carpeted so it gets soaked with the shower.We also waited 5 minutes at reception before being greeted because the person was on a video call on their cell phone.When I wanted to buy a bottle of water, they wanted to charge me a higher price than what was written on the paper and a long discussion ensued because the employee "couldn't read the price".Finally, this hotel is located in a dirty and unpopular area although close to the station.I have never had such a hotel experience.
