A small hotel with some antique, spacious rooms. Some things are “very used”. Carpeted floor. (less suitable for allergy sufferers.)Something went wrong when booking, but they arranged for me to stay. Nice staff. I really enjoyed the breakfast. The beds are comfortable. Safe, fan, hairdryer and minibar available.

Absolutely not recommended in summer!!We had a double room facing the street on the 4th floor (= slightly sloping). There is no air conditioning and no possibility for cross ventilation. Sleep was out of the question, it was WAY too hot in there, even much warmer than outside. Even with the room door open in addition to the open (very small) window, there is no chance of lowering the temperature. Catastrophic!At least the beds were comfortable, the room was big enough and clean. The location of the hotel is great, the staff is friendly. The shower had good water pressure, but unfortunately the water temperature did what it wanted and constantly changed from hot to freezing cold without you even touching the lever to adjust it. The ventilation in the bathroom was broken, so in addition to the heat there was also humidity in the room. The purest sauna. There is no parking at the hotel.

We were there in the summer and unfortunately it was far too hot. The rooms don't have air conditioning so we could hardly sleep at night when it felt like it was 40°C. So not recommended, at least in the summer.The room and shower were clean, the shower couldn't keep a constant water temperature which led to interesting alternating showers..

Ended up here because didn’t book room for the conference in time. Hotel and rooma is very clean but rooms could be a bit bigger and with A/C. Bathroom is also tiny, same goes for the shower. But location is great, many restaurants just outside this hotel. And city center is close by foot.

Location:Very central.Parking options are limited.You can quickly get to the city center, to Neroberg and are “at home” in the most expensive and, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful streets in Wiesbaden.Restaurants and cafés for dining are in the immediate vicinity, as is the bus, so you can get to the main train station in just a few minutesStaff:Friendly and accommodating.I found the employees to be helpful.Room:I once had a single room - and a short time later a double room.I really liked the single room.Enough space, nice view of the back area, where you can see picturesque villas 😃It was cozy and quiet.The double room wasn't that big but sufficient. The bathroom and shower, however, were a bit broken. The door had to be moved with a lot of sensitivity; it had simply fallen apart several times and all the water would have flowed out. I found that a bit tiring.Otherwise everything was clean and in order.Breakfast:The breakfast cost €15 and was also sufficient and tasted good. The selection was okay, I would have liked more vegetables, for people who don't just like to eat cheese and sausage etcHowever, there was also oatmeal and co. I liked that. I liked the breakfast overall.Price:€60 per night was fine for us for the offer.I would definitely recommend the hotel, despite the shower :D but we are there to sleep, not for wellness. So everything is good.

Our stay at the Hotel de France was to our complete satisfaction. A particularly kind lady named Nessli welcomed us and helped with all our questions and did an excellent job. The breakfast was also a delight and the room was great.

Had to wait a bit for hot water when showering in the morning. Rooms are very simply designed and not really bright and inviting. Bed was okay for one night. If you want something cheap and easy, for example on a business trip, you're in good hands there. Breakfast has a nice selection.
