Great location. There is no complaint in the center. But single room, just like Grab. To be honest, I never want to book individual rooms again. Secondly, the environment is also really down town, very loud. Thirdly, the hotel needs to be renovated. 4 stars 🤩 Hotel is really rubbish. Maybe for 1 or 2 days is ok. But for more than two days it is better to book another hotel.

Station district, you can actually see what is described in the documentaries. The hotel itself is actually excellent in terms of price/performance ratio with a few minor defects that are not relevant for a night of partying.

"I had an excellent stay at the Grand Hotel Downtown! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and attended to all my needs. The room was immaculate, comfortable and had all the amenities I could ask for. The location is perfect – close to main attractions yet quiet for a good night's sleep Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options I will definitely stay here again on my next visit - highly recommended!"

The perfect place, in terms of quality-price ratio, an unbeatable location, service with quite friendly staff. The only bad thing is that there are people who may feel intimidated by the surroundings of the streets, but ultimately these are people who don't bother you. Zero incidents as far as it goes, but it is true that it is surrounded by brothels, homeless people and drug addicts despite being just 40 meters from the central train station

The hotel is not clean at all, bad treatment and not a good location, it is all drug users and prostitution shops, and the staff’s treatment is bad and they have not learned respect. I asked to change the room because of the room’s noise and the change was not made.

I ask in advance for a room with a terrace, arriving there no terrace and no one warned us in advance we are placed on the ground floor without a window where a dog comes to pee in front of our window, finally we are changed rooms we move on from 4 stars to 3 stars, at the time of check out the receptionist told us that she wanted to offer us breakfast but too late! Since I have a 3 star room I asked not to pay for a 4 star! She tells me that she is going to go back to the platform where I booked and call me back afterwards, two weeks later still no news I call the platform the hotel does not want to refund me the difference between the 4 and 3 stars!Amazing !!

Treated my son to 3 nights away for his birthday. I was absolutely horrified when I was making our way to the grand hotel. Literally stepping over people, drug users and drunks everywhere. I was terrified !! On arrival I was charged €15 city tax, we were delighted to get to our room safely. But we checked out the next day. My son cut his foot on the lifting floor boards , it was a complete disaster and staff didn't care

Terrible area. According to dirt, one whorehouse next to the others paired with drugs and alcoholic beggars. The rooms were definitely nice... worn out, dirty bed linen, hair in the beds, double beds constantly pushing apart. Bathroom is large but the ceiling and shower are moldy. The floor in the hallway is broken. Fridge, air conditioning, coffee available in the room. The service was ok but the room wasn't ready at 3 p.m. It definitely doesn't deserve the 4 stars anymore.

I have now visited the hotel several times and am very satisfied. I also got along well with the staff at the reception so that I can now be recognized. The Egyptian employee there is actually a very friendly gentleman. Only recently did he allow himself to be loud towards me and throw me out? And this because I used the toilet without asking. He also recognized me and greeted me at the beginning. Considering that I am now a regular customer, I find this very disrespectful and am quite disappointed. I would have liked to make further visits there, but it's not possible for people to talk to me like that. And to put myself in a situation like that and throw me out is just disrespectful.

ATTENTION! ACHTUNG! ⚠️🚨 I wanted to rest for just one night in this hotel and leave early in the morning. I arrived at the station around 11pm, headed towards the hotel and had to run away!!! NOT RECOMMENDED for a woman traveling alone in the evening, super dangerous!! Area of total degradation with drug addicts and drug dealers directly in front of the hotel. Unfortunately I booked it on Booking, unaware of the reviews. I ran away terrified and gave up on the reservation and therefore also on the money. I slipped into the first "safe" hotel I saw while running. I hope I helped someone 🙏🏼

I can only agree with the bad reviews. This hotel has nothing to do with a 4 star hotel. The floor on the floors is quite damaged, causing a tripping hazard. My room looked more like a rabbit hole and was pretty run down. You can hardly move and satisfy your needs on the toilet. It's a few minutes from the main train station but surrounded by red lights. Also many homeless people. It's definitely not a welcoming area. So if you want to spend a few nice days in Frankfurt with your family and children, there are many beautiful places to visit here, this hotel and area is definitely the wrong address.

Unfortunately I have to confirm all the previous bad reviews. The hotel is located in a highly degraded area (there is every type of social deviance), where the hotel itself advises against moving in the evening. It's a shame because the well-kept old town is just a 10-minute walk away. Furthermore, since it is problematic to go out in the evening to dine, the hotel does not offer a restaurant service. The room assigned to me was very small, poorly maintained (dangling bathroom fan, empty minibar, sink literally 10 centimeters wide which made it difficult to even wash your hands). Definitely high price, even if a little inflated by the ACHEMA fair.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms and service, that's also because we didn't dare go in because the environment in front of the hotel put us off so much that we turned around straight away.We made the mistake of not reading the reviews before booking and only wanted to stay overnight for a stopover. I can't recommend anyone to go there, it's in the afternoon and there's trash on the streets everywhere, police drive through every 2 minutes and there are junkies, injections and alcohol everywhere. I don't know why the hotel has such a good rating and then 4 stars. And all the good reviews come from people who are paid to write a positive review.

Not a nice experience. As already described several times, the hotel is in the middle of Frankfurt's problem area. If the hotel initially appears nice and well-maintained at reception, the rooms are even more disappointing. The air conditioning was broken and it was almost impossible to stay in the room. With the window open the noise is unbearable. Large parts of the paint on the bathtub were chipped off, the light switch to the bathroom was broken and half torn out, so there was no light after half the night. Curtain with stains, dead insects in the room. It's no longer possible to go out after 7 p.m. without getting into dangerous situations. The gentleman at the counter was not problem-solving oriented and unfriendly. No recommendation!
