Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Holiday Inn Express (HIE) Wiesbaden. Basically, I like the simple but friendly atmosphere of HIE, which can also be found in Wiesbaden. The public areas and rooms are neat and clean. The hotel still looks quite new. The beds are comfortable and there are feather pillows and not those commonly found synthetic blocks that make it hard to sleep on. The shampoo/shower gel also smells very good. The reception staff are very nice and helpful.But those were the positive aspects of this house. On the first of five nights, I could hardly sleep because the room had a forced ventilation system next to the air conditioning that couldn't be switched off and that roared and roared at 40 dB all night long. I was offered to move to another room, which was very quiet during a quick inspection. I moved, put my card in the slot of the “electricity box” and the roar started there too. As a result, I left the power off at night from then on. This is a solution on cool days, but unimaginable in summer.Other complaints: the hairdryer was broken, the towels were stained, the TV remote only worked sporadically, my room was only cleaned twice in five days, the second elevator failed several times resulting in long waits in the morning hours, the elements The breakfast was constantly incomplete in the morning and the reception computer system was unable to bill. I raised these points at checkout and it was received very professionally.It's a shame that Wiesbaden unfortunately doesn't meet the usual HIE standard. The staff at the reception, on the other hand, is significantly better than in many other hotels!

We stayed one evening. The rooms are very clean. We arrived at the hotel late at night and the gentleman at the reception was very sympathetic and very helpful. The open buffet breakfast was sufficient. I especially liked the croissant. If I ever come across this place, I would prefer to stay there again.

It was very nice there, the staff were very nice and relaxed. The breakfast was also very good, you couldn't eat more than that.The room was really ok, there was nothing to complain about. Bus stop was a few minutes from there.We can recommend the room. 👍👍

We were there for one night. I cannot confirm the positive reviews regarding the service, or the entire staff has been replaced in the last 3 months. Roy's reception was extremely unprofessional, arrogant and bored. Our suitcases were only reluctantly kept until check-in. No further information from him. You didn't feel welcome. At the final check-in we were given a room card with the information that it was most likely not working properly, which was confirmed in the elevator. The room is actually exactly as described, modern and chic. However, there was mold in one corner of the shower stall. The breakfast is ok, but cutlery etc. were only replenished upon request. The pancake machine was constantly broken or empty and no one could get it to work. When I checked out I was incorrectly charged tourist tax for 2 nights. When I complained about this, they apologized and assured me that the 10 euros would be returned. Overall, in my opinion, the problem lies with the unmotivated, untrained staff (except for one lady who I think was the only one who knew her way around). The good connection to public transport and the 10-minute bus ride to the center are ideal for a city trip.

I wanted to provide some feedback regarding our recent stay. While the room was clean and satisfactory, we encountered an issue at check-in with the front desk staff member, Roy. Unfortunately, his handling of the check-in process was unprofessional and did not meet the standards we expect.We requested to speak with a supervisor, but were informed that she was unavailable at the time. We believe it would be beneficial for the hotel to invest in additional training for Roy to improve his customer service skills. Alternatively, considering a different role for him within the hotel, such as the stewards team, might better suit his skills.Thank you for considering this feedback. Well-run hotel with top service...that fulfills almost every wish...plus a good location for the city. With a simple breakfast, however, on weekends it can be a bit crowded in the breakfast area. The rooms are modern clean and spacious with air conditioning. What bothers me personally are the pillows. I need squishy pillows here these are relatively stiff. A small refrigerator would still be possible.😉

Nice modern hotel with friendly staff. Free parking on the street. The room is modern and nice. Breakfast is in order. The only disadvantage is that there is no restaurant for dinner and not much around in the area. So you need to take the car again

We came to this hotel like a virgin, we were rebooked from our original hotel but so far everything was good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and the beds were good. The breakfast was very rich, but personally I would like some nice fried bacon or at least ham with my scrambled eggs, but unfortunately I didn't find that. The rest was really great and fresh, but was always topped up immediately when something was running low. My summary is a great alternative but in my original hotel I get my fried bacon for breakfast, but as I said this is a personal problem and an old saying goes: doing right by everyone is an art that no one can do. And everything else was great08/25/24We stayed again for 2 nights, only this time I had my wife with me, which is why we booked a room with a king size bed. The bed was great but unfortunately only for 1 person for 2 people, one of whom is also a bit obese unusable. I asked specifically about the fried bacon and was told that fried bacon doesn't meet the hotel's standards, yes, maybe now I have to think about whether the Holiday Inn meets our standards

We are and have been staying at this wonderful hotel perfectly situated for our work locations and needs. The staff is professional and is exceptionally focused on easy check-in-and-out procedures. Rooms are spacious, breakfast phenomenal and amenities outstanding.
