No longer a normal hotel, just a fasting hiking holiday. The food during alkaline fasting was great and so was the hiking guide. But not suitable for fasting beginners. Far too little instructions/information

I really enjoyed the fasting and hiking week after Buchinger at NaturMed. The hotel is located in nature and invites you to relax. Maureen's cheerful and positive nature was wonderful and after her good morning with a sports program, every day could only be good. The hikes with her were great. She paid attention to the whole group, but also to each individual person in a loving way. She contributed a lot to my well-being and had many tips that I also took home with me. The detox massage with Thea was a very special moment. With her very calm and appreciative nature, she is largely responsible for the loving and pleasant atmosphere. I don't want to forget the freshly prepared juices and soups. A thank you to Ulla. The Yilmaz family works hard and tries to fulfill all wishes. Thanks! There is still a lack of presence and warmth. Especially at the end, a round of feedback and a farewell would certainly have been good. Thanks to Maureen and Thea, I had a wonderful week for body, mind and soul. Thanks for that ☀️!

My first Buchinger fasting week at the NaturMed Hotel was a complete success. I had originally booked 3 days to get started, but was able to extend it without any problems because I felt so comfortable and well looked after. The hotel is in a very quiet location, clean, familiar, and I immediately felt at home. Requests for changes and concerns from our group were addressed immediately. The hotel manager Eylem has a warm and committed nature, Maureen motivated us wonderfully every day with her range of exercise, and Thea gives sensitive massages and relaxation evenings. The whole area is very idyllic and perfect for hiking. I would be happy to come back at any time.

Thank you very much for this unforgettable and clarifying week. I found every single team member to be so accommodating, friendly and committed. Maureen's lively and open manner made the hardest morning shine and Thea's hands are simply magical. I would recommend at least one massage to everyone, rarely have I enjoyed such a good treatment. And the hostess, Eylem, is very knowledgeable, approachable and warm at all times.It was my first fasting holiday, so I decided to do alkaline fasting and the food was great. My absolute highlight every day and so lovingly prepared! I also find the house really quaint, cozy and located in a green paradise. Bad Endbach is also such a pretty little town, lots of beautiful hiking trails, Kneipp options and Marburg is not far away either.I'll definitely come back, maybe even with my boyfriend, because he can go mountain biking here. I wholeheartedly recommend you to everyone ❤️

Very nice hotel located right next to the forest and spa park. The ideal place for me for fasting hiking.Staff very friendly.Morning exercise, hikes, well-being sessions, fasting lectures, yoga, relaxation, massages and a sauna are all offered.Juices and soups are freshly prepared on site.My furry friend Aja was also allowed to come along. 😊

Perfectly fine for 3 star standards. Absolutely quiet location, at night you can only hear the sound of the stream when you open the window. Beautiful green surroundings, the house is well maintained and clean. The fasting leader Maureen brings lightness and zest to fasting. There are 5 stars for them alone.A few notes:- If you have no experience with Buchinger fasting and/or want close support and lots of fasting lectures, this is not the right place for you.- We only had fasting support from the fasting leader in the morning (morning exercises, well-being session after breakfast, hiking).- Sauna in the house only in the afternoon.- No swimming facilities in the house, but the thermal spa with sauna area and 25 m outdoor pool, which is within walking distance, leaves nothing to be desired, but of course it has its price.- If you would like to extend your stay, you should discuss in advance exactly which services are possible on the weekend (alkaline meals, hiking, sauna, no gymnastics or yoga courses).

From July 30th I took part in a Buchinger fasting week at the NaturMed Hotel Heckenmühle from August 5th, 2022. In the idyllic atmosphere of this natural oasis and with the dedicated support of the fasting leadership, who was available all day long to accommodate any special request, I managed to fast for a week for the first time - it was a great experience, of which I also enjoyed four I still benefit greatly from my health months later.The location of the hotel is uniquely close to nature: at the front the forest edge, at the back there is a wide view of the hotel garden and the seamlessly adjoining spa park. The hotel and the whole place are lovingly prepared for spa guests, but are not overcrowded even during the Hessian summer holidays - an ideal place for regeneration. The supporting program with hikes, “Yogalates”, exciting documentaries on fasting and guided meditation was just right for me. I had chosen a fasting week without lectures because I had some prior knowledge, and for me the situation of fasting on my own but also receiving advice and help if necessary was just right. For those who are fasting for the first time and have no prior knowledge, the offer with fasting lectures and/or more intensive instructions may be more suitable.The gentle Yogalates offer and the hotel's own swimming pool with a garden view were personal highlights for me (I liked the fresh, invigorating water - if you prefer warmer swimming pools, you can find them in the neighboring Rhein-Dill-Therme, a walk through the park away.) For fasting people with more energy, there is also a fitness room with a view of the countryside as well as a sauna and red light cabin, in addition to the gently hilly Lahn-Dill mountain landscape (with some steep climbs) on the doorstep; The fasting hikes were graded for the different conditions of the participants.The massages from therapist Thea, which you could book as well, were extremely professional and soothing, a definitely worthwhile support for the fasting healing process, and I was also able to take valuable osteopathic information with me.Juices and broths for the Buchinger fast tasted excellent and were always very freshly prepared. And the food for interval vegan alkaline fasting looked so appetizing that I definitely want to try it out.I had wonderful relaxation and a great health benefit and will definitely come back.

I spent a week of fasting at NaturMed Heckenmühle in November/December 2022. It was a great experience! The house is run very well and with a lot of love. It features a 1960s design, which looks cool and warm again today. You immediately feel comfortable and in good hands there. The room was very good and clean. The bed excellent. The tranquility of the location at the edge of the forest had a noticeable relaxing effect, as did the competently and warmly guided hikes (starting directly from the hotel), which alternated well with periods of leisure time. I also really enjoyed the professional massage treatments. The soups in the evening were also tasty compared to those from other providers. The friendly and attentive support during relaxed morning yoga also did me good. I'm leaving the fasting week strengthened and with a lot of energy and will definitely come back to the Heckenmühle...

Perfect hotel for fasting hiking! Beautiful hikes in the area, very nice team and very tasty and fresh juices and soups. Highlights are also the yoga lates classes and the massages.In addition to the in-house sauna, there is the large thermal bath right next door. I'd love to come back!

Overall, a great experience with limitations. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit (in my opinion €200 too expensive) - that's why 3 starsI was here for the Buchinger fast for two weeks. The first week without fasting accompaniment. However, you could contact the hotel management if you had any concerns. She took care of everything immediately. But the communication must come from the guest. The second week was a great fasting accompaniment.The location of the hotel is a dream. You are directly surrounded by fantastic hiking routes and the thermal baths are opposite.The wellness area is quite old and also under-supplied. The sauna doesn't close properly and has old stones on the stove - which makes it smell a bit smelly. But it does what it's supposed to do :-)The “food” – the juices and soups – are really good. Very tasty and top quality.The masseuse Thea has golden hands. Incredibly brilliant massages. She has a real feeling for people. An impressive personality.Overall, you can say it's a good hotel that still has a lot to do and that you can get a lot out of. That's why the price is still too high now.

A very well-kept house, as soon as you enter it you feel at home. It is located in the middle of the spa park and there is a wonderful view in every direction. The management and all employees are very friendly and helpful. My girlfriend and I were there from October 15th. until October 21st, 2022 for alkaline fasting. Our room was lovingly furnished and spacious and very clean. The beds are comfortable and the linen is of good quality.There is a very wide range of activities. Swimming, sauna, fitness, yoga and guided hikes. Massages can be booked with a competent therapist, which we strongly recommend! Our food is to die for. Wonderfully tasty and varied. Yes, manageable, but that's what we wanted. After all, we wanted to fast! We will both definitely come back and would be happy to recommend NaturMed Heckmühle. Thank you for the lovely stay!

I went on a fasting hike from July 30, 2022 to August 5, 2022 at the Naturmed Hotel. The hotel is nice and well located with a park with very beautiful old trees. I had a fairly spacious double room and the mattresses are excellent. The pool (cold! 24 degrees) is very pleasant, the hotel management is very present, in short, for a normal hotel stay for relaxation I can recommend this hotel. For a fasting stay for people who have never fasted before, I would moderately recommend this hotel:The rooms are not optimally equipped for this and the hikes took place from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. under time pressure... It seems that there was unfortunately a staff problem this week due to illness. Probably an exceptional situation.Addendum: I was contacted by the hotel management on August 12th and was asked to change my first recommendation. That's what I did... and I regret it given the response I received from management...I maintain that this hotel is not ideal for fasting and that this is a problem of general organization.

I was there for Lent. The hotel is beautifully located on the edge of the forest, very quiet. The mattresses are also very good. The standard rooms are very small and the balconies are not separated. We had 3 chairs, a table and a parasol per 3 rooms.There was no kettle in the rooms, there is tea and hot water available downstairs.Hiking took place from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., mostly rushed, we had to be back on time. Then there was a glass of juice, usually, but not always, fresh.There is no fasting care.Also no communication with the group.Everything is very cool and economical.In the afternoon there was so-called Yogalates, some gymnastics, very unprofessional. There is a large swimming pool if you like a cool swim, and the sauna is heated at certain times upon request.Towards the evening there was a broth.I really enjoyed the massage and the guided relaxation with Thea.

We enjoyed the place. We just had a bad experience with the paiement as we did not have a EC card. I hope they will learn from it and make it easier for other foreigners to pay. Just check with them before
