We haven't stayed overnight at the country hotel yet. We were guests in the restaurant again and enjoyed the seasonal cuisine and the good hospitality.

The rooms are very good. The staff friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is also good to very good.There is only a little vinegar in the wine, these are the prices of eating in a restaurant. The dishes are worth the money, that is without question. But it would still need a few simple dishes like a simple schnitzel or something like a burger or something, at moderate prices.

Nice country hotel, rooms clean, staff friendly and helpful. Location directly on the Lahn. If you are sensitive to noise at night, you should book a room facing away from the river. The breakfast was very good and varied. If you want to dine in the restaurant in the evening, you've made a good choice. We particularly recommend the varied and very tasty starter buffet in combination with a grilled fish, meat or vegetarian dish.Good starting point for bicycle tours, Wetzlar with its beautiful old town can be reached on foot in an hour along the Lahn.

We were here for our wedding anniversary... we are more than thrilled!!!Top service and great food!!!The salad buffet is very rich and varied. There's everything here, from antipasti to potato salad!!!The rump steak with chanterelles and green beans was served with rosemary potatoes and garnished with small fried tomatoes 😍 the steak was fried to perfection and tasted great. The atmosphere was rustic and very cozy. A must for anyone who prefers the old charm and enjoys a more upscale meal.

Everything is just right here: the rooms are comfortable, the service is consistent and extremely friendly and helpful, always up for a humorous joke, and the location on the Lahn is fantastic. Bird watching possible in the morning at breakfast, exceptional.

Disappointing value for moneyUnfortunately, our stay at the hotel for our wedding night was a disappointment. The room was more than twice as expensive as our overnight stay at “The Flag” the night before in Frankfurt am Main, which gave us high expectations for comfort and service. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met.The room was in need of renovation and the carpet and upholstery appeared to be contaminated with mites. Within the first five minutes in bed, both guests developed nasal congestion, indicating poor air quality and possible allergens. The air in the room was musty and the air conditioning was unusable as we had to leave the window open for reasonably acceptable air conditions.What was particularly disappointing was the feeling of being taken for granted as a guest. The service from the hotel itself was impersonal and not very attentive: both when booking the room and by our parents, who had also booked breakfast together, it was pointed out several times that we had just married on the day of booking, this fact became obviously at best acknowledged. Only the service staff were very friendly and tried to offer a glass (!) of champagne for breakfast to celebrate the day and diligently congratulated us on the wedding. Without the friendliness of the service staff I would actually have only given one star.Overall, the price-performance ratio is disproportionate to the services offered. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the Hotel “Naunheimer Mühle”.

We ate with our family of 10 people in the Naunheimer Mühle restaurant. It was a great experience with excellent service that fulfilled all requests (vegan and gluten-free) without hesitation. The food was delicious and tasty for everyone and plentiful for almost everyone.The location of the restaurant is also wonderful on the Lahn. We would like to come again.
