The staff was absolutely first class: super friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean and absolutely sufficient in size. Personally, I missed a mirror for dressing and found the bed to be in need of improvement as it seemed a bit unstable and creaked with every movement.

We stayed at the Stadthotel Marburg for two nights and were very satisfied. The hotel is lovingly and personally furnished, everything was spotlessly clean. The rooms in particular are very tidy and offer additional comfort such as hotel slippers. The box spring bed was extremely comfortable. The only negative was the noisy location - it was difficult to sleep with the window open as early in the morning you could hear the deliveries for the bakery on the corner. Even though the location is very central and close to the old town, the street itself doesn't seem like the best area, especially in the evening. Tip: A room facing the inner courtyard would be quieter. Plus points are the paid public parking directly behind the hotel and the rich breakfast, which leaves nothing to be desired. The service was excellent - they even sent my lost ID by post. Overall a great hotel with super friendly staff. Gladly again!

A small, modern hotel a short distance from Marburg main station. The rooms are modernly furnished and for night owls there is a small drinks fridge at reception.

Definitely recommend it! It's just perfect.The hotel is central and you can take a one stop bus to get there or walk the 3 or so streets from the central station.The staff is super friendly.The rooms are spacious, and the mattress is so perfect I almost didn't wake up.They also have blinds that shut out all of the light.

Centrally located, clean, well maintained. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast selection. Selection of drinks in the fridge at reception. You can enjoy this on the sun terrace as well as in your room. Due to the good location, everything in Marburg is easy to reach and within walking distance. Keep it up, we'll be back.

We were traveling as a couple and it was a pretty good hotel for sleeping and breakfast. Simple and clean room. The staff was extremely nice and everything was pretty uncomplicated, there is also an elevator.Maybe not quite as appealing from the outside, but everything is great from the inside. Very safe and clean parking garage around the corner. The location is perfect for reaching the city on foot. Breakfast fills you up and is perfectly fine for 11 euros.Overall a hotel to recommend.

Apart from the fact that we had a room on the attic in the summer and there was no air conditioning (unfortunately we overlooked that when choosing the hotels), the service was very friendly, the breakfast was rich and very important for us: there was the option to park our bikes in a locked basement.

Surprisingly great!! Our stay at the Marburg city hotel was great. Very easy to reach and from the Bahnhofstrasse location we were in the city, in the upper and lower towns, in no time. Parking in the parking garage right around the corner! Our double room facing the inner courtyard was nice and quiet; Although there is no wardrobe, we were able to adequately store our spacious motorcycle luggage in the shelves and on the clothes rail. Super comfortable box spring bed, mattress pleasantly hard, great that there is no "crack for visitors" :-) Roller shutters as sun/high summer temperature protection was perfect. Bathroom big enough. Everything is in tip-top shape, modern and attractively designed. Kettles, instant coffee and tea are available for all guests in the corridors of the floors and there are chilled drinks at the reception. The breakfast was rich, great selection, very, very tasty!! Big thanks to the friendly, helpful team.

Room was completely fine, breakfast was great!The hotel is conveniently located in Marburg, easy to reach from the B3. The city center is not right around the corner, but still within walking distance. Unfortunately there are no parking spaces, although the North parking garage around the corner is not too expensive.

A very nice hotel, perfectly located for exploring Marburg on foot. The rooms are modern and super clean. The staff is very nice and attentive. We came with a dog and a dog bed and bowls were provided in the room. We've never had service like this before. The breakfast buffet is rich and here too it was no problem taking the dog with you. We can recommend the hotel without reservation and would like to thank the operators for the very pleasant stay and the excellent service.
