After reading a few reviews, especially on Slevomat, one might even be afraid 😂. Since we had already stayed with the owner in another of his guesthouses and were very satisfied, we just laughed at his funny answers. The guesthouse is in the very center of Boží Dar, the room is large, clean, well equipped. A few meters away in the next guesthouse, delicious fresh breakfast, selection, excellent dinner. All for a great price. A wonderful, helpful Mr. waiter, cook, receptionist, operator... all in one, explained everything, gave advice. People here deal with things in public, which the staff would have solved immediately if they had told them. We were extremely satisfied, thank you very much for the stay.

The guesthouse is located in the center of Boží Dar and is the perfect starting point for trips to the beautiful surroundings. For breakfast and dinner, they go to the neighboring guest house St. Hubert. The breakfasts were plentiful with excellent scrambled eggs. Dinner good, big portions. I really appreciate the service, both the chef and Mr. Bláha were accommodating in everything. Thank you

We go to this guesthouse repeatedly, both in winter and in summer, and we are always very satisfied. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms newly renovated. Chef Lukáš cooks excellently, there is plenty of food. Many thanks to Mr. Bláh, the owner of the guesthouse, for his kind attitude, willingness and helpfulness. Last time we were here with our granddaughters, who were delighted.

Dirty, noisy and cheeky…Well, unfortunately we didn't like our stay at all. The beds were a disaster. The mattress had dark stains. In the description on the booking it was clearly stated that there was a double bed... we were given two single beds that were pushed together... When we asked the “reception” (a waiter who was responsible for both hotels and the restaurant for communication) about a bed sheet that would go over both beds works so that our one-year-old doesn't slip in the middle, was the only answer. I don't understand anything... phew... bad when a reception only speaks the local language...The breakfast was very unimaginative... just one type of cheese and sausage, as well as egg and Vienna... well... luckily there were a few cornflakes 👍🏼The only good thing about the hotel was the location to the ski slopes. This really wasn't far away.

Perfect for a simple overnight stay on the weekend and cheap! Rooms very noisy, beds ok, bed linen with various stains! Breakfast very manageable! Not suitable for people with higher demands.

I always read reviews before choosing an accommodation, so I knew that the parking was not at the hotel. Cool, a few extra steps is fine, and parking is free for the duration of your stay. I also knew that the reception is not directly in the guesthouse. Well, it's right next door. Even the restaurant in the next building can be managed without any problems. No one expected Michelin cuisine either, so steak or goulash is ok. I would welcome wholemeal bread for breakfast, but I don't mind a white roll once in a while. Complaints about creaky floors or musty air or steep stairs seemed laughable to me. The room was clean, cozy and pleasant. We got over the operator's (lack of) knowledge with a smile and exaggeration. Wine by the glass at Rajec, Valentine's Green instead of Veltlínský or the Ballantines offer instead of the missing Tullamore. Yeah, we had fun. But the disappointment came on a day when it was eight degrees and we were caught in persistent rain on the hike. The children returned with soaked shoes and socks and pretty cold feet. But what. However, two weeks ago, the owner wrote to a lady in response to a review that she could ask for a direct heater and not complain about the cold in the room on the Internet. So we went to ask for a short-term rental so that the children could warm up and the boots could at least dry a little. And look! He is no straight top! Just bad luck. They said they would lend us a spare towel so they could dry off. Well, I'm very curious what answer the owner will come up with this time.
