We spent a long weekend at the campsite (caravan). We were standing right by the water. The parking spaces on the meadow are very small and not clearly demarcated. Fortunately, the pitches directly on the Elbe are a bit more “private” because you don’t have to sit next to your neighbor’s caravan but can enjoy a great view. The path to the sanitary rooms is very dark and unfortunately not lit (the place is generally very, very dark - particularly inconvenient now in the autumn). To shower you have to load credit onto your shower card. I always find this very surprising, because it's part of everyday hygiene and I don't believe that every camper here stands in the shower for an hour a day that you have to pay extra for this. I think that's really a shame. The sanitary facilities were always very, very clean and well maintained. The train traffic didn't bother us. That's part of it ;) .The really large and great playground next to the square is a paradise for the children. The Elbe Freizeitland is also a great little excursion for the whole family. The great thing about the parking space is that it is centrally located and you can only drive 5-15 minutes to various excursion destinations. We'll definitely come back!

It was very nice there. We came with a group of ten people and had a very nice two days there. Maybe I would come back sometime. :) Definitely worth a visit - glamping is definitely great!!! Even people who aren't actually camping fans get their money's worth. I mean, sleeping in beds in tents, how cool is that? :)

Lots of hidden costs (40%) that are only apparent after booking without a cancellation option. An attempt to re-negotiate was not successful as the staff would only offer an overpriced alternative. It was a sauer experience so we decided to lose the money and to find another accommodation. In any case, 147 euros for a box with bunk beds and an outside toilet and shared shower off-season is a rip-off

Small parking spaces, clean, opening times not ok. If you arrive before 10 a.m. you have to walk a long way.

Great location and fast service at reception. Hiking to Lilienstein or Gohrischstein and cycle path to Bad Schandau or Rathen directly from the site. Always happy to come back.

We have been to this place at least twice a year for many years. Most of the premium pitches were muddy after the flood and were unacceptable. Despite prior telephone inquiries, the places were released. Unfortunately the friendly couple at the reception are no longer there and the service has deteriorated greatly. We won't be coming back!

We have been guests at this place several times. We think the location and the atmosphere are absolutely great. Yes, the train... but it's not that loud. You can book breakfast in the neighboring restaurant and also have a very good dinner. Operator friendly. Clear recommendation.

An absolutely great campsite. There is something for everyone here. There were 20 of us at the family reunion and we found space everywhere...from the family room with dog, safari tent and hiking hut. The breakfast is varied and delicious, a fresh scrambled egg is something nice. There are many places to linger and the children can play wonderfully. The Elbeleisure Land immediately afterwards is also super practical. We'll be back.

The address we received was somehow displayed incorrectly according to Google Maps. Stupid because we were wandering around on foot in the rain. Then check-in was not as desired. The staff was in a bit of a bad mood and when we didn't look where the showers were, we got the answer: Just walk across the square and you'll find them. Thanks for nothing! We then had a hiking box to stay overnight. You have to pay extra for bed linen, for the final cleaning and then another cleaning fee per guest. Overall, the hiking box is very expensive and we could have taken a holiday apartment straight away. Here we wouldn't have had to walk so far to the toilet.Unfortunately, our box was still leaking and rainwater dripped onto my face during the night. The next day I reported the problem and unfortunately didn't even receive an apology.Again, thanks for nothing! The view is positive.
