First of all: When you read some of the reviews here you really wonder what some people's ideas are. The hotel is thirty years old, yes. But absolutely not worn out. Rooms including bathroom are large and clean. So price/performance is absolutely right! The breakfast is also absolutely okay. Sure, a change wouldn't be bad. Basically everything is available and there are hardly any fresh rolls from the bakery anymore. I can recommend the hotel and breakfast!

On the hill behind the town of Miessen, far from the center. Good WiFi, buffet breakfast, large rooms. Pizzeria at the hotel, closed on Mondays. Pizza costs about 10 euros, beer around 4 euros.

Hotel is very old, but rooms are relatively clean. Breakfast was an absolute disaster, the worst I've ever had in a hotel. No selection at all, quality really bad, a cheap coffee machine for all guests...unbelievable!

This weekend we stayed at the Hotel Siebeneichen with 11 people. Unfortunately I have to say the price/performance ratio wasn't right at all. 120 euros per night. Faucets in the bathroom were difficult to use. Stains on floors and chairs. No sockets or lamps by the bed. The hairdryer was hidden at the top of the cupboard and only the older ones discovered it, not to mention breakfast. Not a big selection, sausage in foil packaging, yoghurt in cups, no freshly cut fruit at all, just the same thing every day. It was more like a youth hostel breakfast. For a hotel, rather less. I can then go to a pension and save at least 50 euros. The location was nice and quiet, but I don't think we would go to the hotel again. We're not spoiled or complain about everything, but in this day and age, the price-performance ratio should be right, because everyone has to work hard for their money, and they can charge a decent amount for it.The staff didn't ask at the end whether they liked it and was everything OK.We'll leave it at that. Everyone has to make their own experiences.

Simple hotel, but everything clean and functional. Large rooms. Price-performance ratio is completely clear. If you don't have high expectations, I think it's a good place to stay overnight.

We spent a weekend in Meißen and stayed at the Hotel Siebeneichen.Very comfortable business hotel, very spacious room. Facility well maintained and very good cleanliness. Hassle-free, friendly check-in. Breakfast with a wide selection, leaving nothing to be desired. Can only recommend the hotel.
