Unfortunately I was dependent on a room, but it wasn't what I expected. The room smells damp, cobwebs and spider in the bathroom.I thought I would eat something else, but I was disappointed there too.Honestly, not again.

Nice inn, older, but well located if you want to explore Dresden.Service OK The same was true of the room, and the stream that rushes all night long was beautiful. The street is a bit noisy in the morning, but the beds are very comfortable.Breakfast very good and sufficient.Only a hairdryer would have been nice. Didn't have one with me.Conclusion: Any time again

The inn is in a very old house, which you can see and smell from the outside as well as the inside... old dirty carpets in the hallway and on the stairs, old walls. The bathroom hasn't seen any strong cleaning products in a long time, which is why the mold is already spreading in the shower... Disgusting "white" towels haven't been white for ages. Never again....

It's our first time here, great accommodation, everything a man and a woman needs, food freshly prepared, still the "old" art of German cuisine, breakfast with lots to choose from, plentiful and fresh, we are satisfied.

The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating. You will be fully informed and possible short-term rebookings will be easy. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. If you are looking for peace and quiet and a room at a reasonable price near the Saxon metropolis of Dresden, you have come to the right place.

We were on the road and spontaneously decided to stop at Klippermühle. There is no menu, but the dishes can be read on boards in the dining room. We had schnitzel with 2 fried eggs and fried potatoes (€13.20), as well as venison sausage with homemade potato salad (€7.80). Schnitzel and bratwurst were freshly fried when ordered. The wait was worth it. It tasted excellent. The prices are absolutely right. You can safely ignore the not entirely contemporary ambience in favor of honest food. Gladly again.

As described by others, welcome to the 80s of the GDR (so the rooms are retro or tasteful with stucco like in the Semper Opera), the dishes on the menu were also like before, the food was good and homemade
