We dined in this cozy restaurant on October 14th and 15th, 2024. The service was very friendly and the food tasted very appealing. The location and its sanitary areas were very tidy and clean. The rating of 3.6 does not come close to reflecting the actual quality of the restaurant. I can only highly recommend the restaurant.

Lovely place. Location is amazing. We had dinner and breakfast. Both amazing. People Who works there are kind and super nice. We stayed the night, room was big and bed comfy. Perfect place for hikers in area. And prices are very good too. Loved the place. Would recommend to anyone.

The restaurant, the children's portion of balls in tomato sauce was identical as described below in the review. I had pastries with potato dumpling, the portion looked dry, the food tasted good, smaller portions for my taste. But what surprised me, something I have never encountered before, is that the price on the menu was listed only for meat and cabbage, then you have to buy a side dish. The meal was not listed as complete. It was the same with similar dishes.

Soooo…. For years, as locals in Saxon Switzerland, we have resisted going out to eat here.This is due to the fact that the recessions here are so poor and we ourselves have very high standards for good food in restaurants.Today we didn't have the chance to get a table in any of our regular restaurants and so we quickly decided to get an impression for ourselves.And contrary to all expectations, we cannot confirm any of the negative points mentioned.Today we were craving a classic breaded schnitzel from the start and as luck would have it, past the window with an open view of the kitchen, we saw a breading line set up :-DSo reassure yourself that there are probably no ready-made frozen schnitzels! Very good!So pure, cozy, rustic atmosphere, we were given cards straight away by a very nice waitress, we read through the well-sorted, varied menu and well translated into German and ordered.A minute later the drinks arrived, three minutes later you could hear the cook going to work with the meat hammer and less than 15 minutes later all three of us had our food in front of us at the same time.Yes, it's not a star restaurant, but good, honest, home-style cuisine, with appealing quality!We were really satisfied and our wallet had nothing to complain about at €45 for three dishes, a starter and three drinks.

A great guesthouse for me. They treated us nicely, helpfully and willingly. We returned the room key late and we returned from our morning trip too late for the perfect breakfast, but we still got it and there was no problem with the check out. Dinner was tasty, salmon and spaghetti, but there were not enough of them, but I'm a voracious eater, so the problem is mine. Thank you!

The opinion concerns the restaurant. The food was very poor. Dumplings made from old potatoes. The trout was not suitable for frying - the meat was difficult to separate from the bones and the skin, instead of being crunchy, was hard and inedible.Double espresso - it was poor quality coffee - probably poured from a jug.I do not recommend!No possibility to pay by card.

One night and never again. The rooms are terrible, dirty, literally dirt and clouds of spiders and cobwebs all over the room, disgusting.A stressful experience for the children and actually for us too. Restaurant and service ok.

Penzion Klepáč super location, ideal, decent rooms, even good service... but the quality of the food? don't expect any big balls... You could do it at home too... Otherwise, three out of five stars...Great, thank you very much

I only rate the restaurant. Nothing much. A children's portion of Swedish balls in tomato sauce with pasta. Well, testo's backpack, it seems quite stiff. More flavors than needed. Swedish balls excellent, but only four. Four approximately 2cm shots. For the children's portion, take half of the pasta and a little sauce and add two extra balls... Or you can reduce by half, it's not worth it more. For full br. omit the strange ugo sauce for the dumpling and add cabbage. Because there is very little of it. The taste is quite below average. So I don't recommend...And the men's toilet is one big joke, you have to sit there as straight as a ruler. So you have to experience it, you won't experience it anywhere else... You wipe yourself, get up and immediately have a bump or a hard nose on the doorknob...

Restaurant rustic, with a certain charm.Menu quite large. After receiving our drinks we were informed that pasta and chicken were out.Food for 9 people came staggered so that the first 5 were finished before the rest got their food. The last person got their food 50 minutes after ordering.Quality of the food varies greatly from quite tasty to poor.Staff ok in terms of friendliness.None of us were enthusiastic and we won't be coming back

The review concerns the restaurant. Give a wide berth! The soups are nasty and salty (both broth and garlic) and to make matters worse, you can count on an insert in the form of... fragments of a broken bowl (one was about 2.5 cm long and a few small ones...) most likely coming from the edge of the bowl, in which soup was served. We didn't hear a word of apology or remorse, but one thing was not discussed when we refused to pay for this soup trap....
