I love this place. The family is SO lovely — friendly, welcoming, communal, and very helpful. Sincerely, they're probably the nicest family I've stayed with in Indonesia, and I've been coming here for a decade.I can't relate to a couple of negative comments in other reviews — my room was spotless. Spacious, comfortable, clean, excellent AC and bathroom, with a desk. If I had to be persnickety, the internet in the room I was in was generally fine but occasionally hit and miss, but that's quite typical in most of Indonesia.I also appreciate the water refills and fruit for guests.Last, the location is ideal for most people — near places like the monkey forest, close to a good gym, with a few excellent eateries (try Bali Luwih) and coffee shops nearby. Thanks again, really hope to be back!

This is a Korean review!!First of all, the owner is very kind. They ask if you need anything, change towels, and if you want room cleaning, they do it for you. There are local Indonesian fruits in the accommodation, so you can eat as much as you want in a buffet style. However, the noise is too much.Since the window in the room is open, you can hear the noise of the motorcycle outside very well, and it gets a little quiet at night, but the noise from cars, barking, etc. is loud again from early in the morning.

Friendly, but much older than other local homestays. I'm not a sensitive person and am good at staying at cheap accommodations, but this place was a bit difficult. It's not really dirty, but it feels like it's hard to stay. The sound of motorcycles at night.

Very welcoming place. The family is really friendly (they also taught me some Indonesian), everything was clean, there were fresh local fruit and snacks always available in the common area and the room was as good as a small hotel room, with balcony, fridge and desk. It is not advertised, but they can even do your laundry for a cheap price. They also provide earplugs, because it's located next to the main road, so it's a bit noisy until around midnight, not a problem for me personally.Terimakasih!

The day I was around and just wanted to walked in to check if the room was ok and if nothing wrong I would book it right now. When we walked in, a woman showed us the room. I did some basic check to make sure everything is fine. Unfortunately I literally found some dirt and even hair on the quilt. We were tired that day so we decided to take it. Meanwhile I told the woman to change the bedsheet(and that’s the only vacant room that day)The woman kept making phone calls to her brother. She said her brother would come to change and clean it later. But I was also told that I should pay 60k rp more for this room.I said i’ll book on agoda because it’s cheaper. She told her brother again and they talked in Indonesian on the phone for several minutes. Just at that moment, I found I wasn’t able to pay because the room was sold out online. I checked several platform and all the same situation. Her brother came in a minute. The most hilarious thing is that he told me I can still have this room, but I should pay the price he asked. I said I thought the room was already booked by someone else, so I’d better go. He acted as if he didn’t know what I was talking about. I felt like eating a full mouth of flies and instantly walked out away.So the truth is clear. He manually sold out the room online so that I was not able to book it and he could get much more money.BTW an old man in the yard kept gazing at me with a weird expression which made me really sick. Just remind all girls. This host is really tricky and dishonest. Better keep away.

Very friendly and kind family. The room was big and very clean, came with a big balcony and a good bathroom with the best shower i used in some years!!! 😃Free fruits, water, tea and coffee, shampoo, soap, towels and toiletpaper is available as well. The price is very reasonable! 😊The only down part is the noise from the street in the morning ( they do though provide earplugs)

The accommodation definitely has its drawbacks. However, I was moved by the kindness of the host family enough to make up for all the shortcomings. If I go to Ubud again, I will definitely stay here again.👍🏻
