Had a wonderful week in the Royal Relaxation. Great room, mega breakfast, bicycles in a locked garage, great location and a very (very) nice host! Always attentive, always helpful, thank you very much for that. In the dining room there were still various pictures from the weekend before (Summer Festival/Elbhangfest) to view...one of which is now hanging in our house (Thank you for your support in purchasing it and the towels for wrapping the painting, Ms. Freudenberg). We'd love to come back...next time to the Elbhangfest 2025!

A small, very nicely furnished guesthouse. Family atmosphere. Very valuable tips for your Dresden vacation. The breakfast was rich and tasted very good. We felt very comfortable. The small guesthouse is located in Pillnitz, outside the hustle and bustle, but you can reach Dresden in just a few minutes by bus. A real insider tip.

The Pension Königliche Ausspanne is located near Pilnitz. In the eastern quarter of Dresden not far from the Elbe. You can walk along it to Pilnitz Castle. Also close to suspension railway and can see the city of Dresden from above. The guesthouse is nice with its breakfast room very tidy. Ms. Freudenberg is friendly.

Visited this place for the private Elbhangfest. Great atmosphere and very nice hosts. A great garden and suitable for stressed guests to relax. Gladly again at any time

We were so excited about the Pension Königliche Ausspanne. The boss and her team put so much effort into fulfilling all your wishes. It all starts with breakfast...all wishes are fulfilled. There is always time to chat even at the table. You can leave your car behind. Public transport is so well developed that you can get to all the sights.You should always keep in mind that the entire guesthouse is not a hotel. Is furnished with so much attention to detail.The bathrooms are a bit smaller, but not a problem.What's great is the fridge in the hallway and kettle and dishes in the rooms.We had the opportunity to look at all the rooms, apartments and suites.Each one is a piece of jewelry.The romantic garden that can be used is also nice. There is also a fireplace in the breakfast room that can be used.We have decided to come againGreetings, Angela

We were already excited about the royal relaxation in 2013 and now in 2022 the first impression has been confirmed!This time we rented the holiday apartment and were not disappointed again. Lots of space, large bathroom, very good mattresses, so everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and individual requests were also fulfilled.A special thank you goes to the owner, always a kind word and lots of great tips about Dresden! :)

Beautiful old guesthouse furnished with matching old furniture. In summer it's definitely nice to sit outside in the courtyard. Unfortunately a bit cool in autumn. Breakfast is served individually designed. This way it remains customizable and not as much is thrown away. A good service. Another service is a refrigerator in the hallway with a small selection of drinks, which you can then pay for later. Comfortable beds, although a bit low and not necessarily suitable for older people. A disadvantage in the room is definitely the shower curtain. This neither matches the room's furnishings nor is it really practical with such a small shower. Furthermore, the attachment of the shower curtain is in need of renovation. Another service is coffee and tea preparation in the room. There is WiFi in the rooms, but it almost didn't work in our room. The bus stop is about 200 meters away on foot. From here you can reach the old town of Dresden in about 40 minutes with a change. This is really highly recommended.

We didn't feel welcome here. Reception via an intercom. Afterwards, an unmotivated and grubby-looking young man came and invited us in. We came to the hall where breakfast is supposed to take place. It smelled very musty here and it seemed deserted, just like the advertised inner courtyard. Everything seemed unkempt. The room was ok. The best thing was the mattresses. In the bathroom, the soap dispenser was broken, the towel holder was broken, a cheap shower curtain and the hairdryer was also broken.Since the outside temperature was only 9° on the day we arrived, we turned up the heating; it remained cold in the room and in the bathroom. The landlady (who didn't even introduce herself to us) replied that we would have to get used to it. That doesn't work at all. Other guests felt the same way. When other guests complained about the heating, she replied in a harsh landowner tone and made up excuses as to why the heating remained cold. The much praised breakfast was subpar. A cake stand with cheese and sausage was served at the table. It was so stocked that there wasn't even the same thing for everyoneShe would have preferred to serve us just 3 rolls. People's eyes widened when we said 4 rolls please. The landlady was unfriendly and lied to us several times about the heating. After 2 nights in the cold room, we ended our stay here. We cannot recommend this guesthouse. The 1 star is still too much. If you want to feel like a royal subject, this is the place for you.
