Well-visited hotel on the northern outskirts of Dresden. Close to the motorway and well connected to the center with tram number 3. The hotel is already a bit old, some of the furniture is past its prime. But overall it is very clean and, at least in our experience, very quiet. On the main street side you can probably hear the tram more. But anyone who goes to the big city will probably expect it. The breakfast is sufficiently rich, fresh and varied with warm components. It is also quickly refilled and the morning coffee was great. For the price level and the location, we were thrilled and would love to come back! Parking 10€ per day. You can also go outside in Barbarastr. parking free of charge

This room does not come close to what is shown on the booking pages. It starts off unfriendly at the reception, you are fobbed off with the statement “I'm not from here, I have no idea, I can't help”. Only a nice employee helped us on the last day after the colleague didn't even do that even though she said she had ordered a taxi for us. The food is inedible. overcooked, cold, unidentifiable. The rooms are a complete disgrace. Our refrigerator in the room was full of mold, the bathroom wasn't cleaned, the rooms were so small, the bed was against the wall so one of us always had to climb over the other to get out. All in all just a shabby shop! It's a mystery to me that the health department doesn't do anything here!

I would prefer not to give a star at all, but unfortunately I have to do this in order to get a review! We booked and paid for two rooms! When we wanted to check in, the gentleman at the reception told us that there were no rooms available. So we had to wait the night without a room and without compensation in a strange city! Immediately sent an email to the owner so that we could get our money back, after almost two months still no response! Just a mess! On the phone we were always put off by the ladies who answered!

We had two rooms with pretty much the same problems. We had springs sticking out of our mattresses, the room was very dirty, leftovers from other guests in the minibar, cups not washed, mold in the shower, very unpleasant young lady at reception.Cold food, the service couldn't understand the guests...Left the “hotel” early after a loud and sleepless night.

The two of us have been waiting for an invoice for 25 minutes (payment was made in advance), the hotel refuses to issue one with the statement “the billing via booking.com hasn't arrived yet, we won't issue you an invoice”. What kind of people are they and do they pay their taxes AT ALL, I wonder. Not recommended, service from the last century.

Slightly older hotel with parking in the courtyard and cozy seating area. Rooms are sufficient and the staff is friendly. The former restaurant, which serves as a dining room, is a real highlight.

Transport connections ideal, room ok, breakfast was good, dinner impossible, no bread, no sausage, no cheese, but cold pasta and indefinable mush. You have to close the window. because the noise is unbearable. We left early and will never come back to this hotel.

The hotel has a new owner and therefore also a new managing director, Mr. Kübler. He unilaterally canceled my booking confirmation, which had been confirmed six months ago, 3 weeks before the start of the trip. As a result, I incurred high costs for the train tickets that I had already paid for. According to me, these should be written and verbal confirmation from Mr. Kübler upon arrival at the latestto be replaced in the hotel. I was also supposed to receive another voucher as compensation. But unfortunately nothing happened and all that remained was full-bodied confessions... I then started the journey a week later, paid for the train ticket twice and unfortunately found out that not once during my 6 day stay!! the rooms were cleaned...When asked, they said there would be a staff shortage..I'm really very disappointed 😞 about the way paying guests are treated here..After all, I've already been a guest at the Hotel Amadeus five times I would describe myself as a regular...The breakfast buffet is still good...I don't think the mood in the team is...And that's a real shame...In my opinion, Mr. Kübler is absolutely out of place and in my opinion he really has no place in this hotel!!..He is untrustworthy as a manager and unfortunately doesn't live up to his responsibility...It's a real shame that I have to say it so clearly..It's very unfortunate what happened This once friendly, owner-managed hotel has now become...Before, the focus was on the guest...service and friendliness were a given here. Today I have the feeling that Mr. Christian Kübler only cares about the money 💰... .What I would also like to finally mention is that Mr. Kübler could not be reached by telephone in any way for a statement...
