Nice, small guesthouse with a helpful owner and good care. Unfortunately, not every room has its own sanitary facilities. But I was alone anyway. Beds are comfortable and clean. Not a 5-star hotel but great for the price and location.

Very cozy accommodation in spacious rooms with a touch of East Algian flair, in a quiet location near the city center. The host is very friendly and responds to all wishes. We felt very comfortable here and will book a room here again when we visit our old home city of Dresden again.

Friendly family, questions about problems/requests were answered. Bathroom/shower in shared use (4 rooms - including double rooms) - but OK. Nevertheless, the guesthouse would need a general overhaul. Sorry, but GDR times / the beginning of the 90s stopped (poor/slow/no internet connection, technical equipment, furniture, kitchen, bathroom outdated - partly dirty corners). An attempt is made to keep it well maintained, but at second glance a lack of cleanliness is reflected . (So that when you move in, for example when you turn on the bedside lamp, you can be happy to have little roommates on your hands. Furniture covered in dust, including upholstered furniture)Lt. A roommate said she hadn't vacuumed for three weeks, but it was unclear whether this happened to me. Drying towels (kitchen)/bathroom mats apparently haven't been changed for too long - and that's when they're shared. It's best to always have your own fit with you.I have no complaints about the actual sleeping comfort of the bed - great. Also clean. As already mentioned in the reviews, I could also smell the dog urine from time to time - but according to the statement, this was the weed pesticide/fertilizer.My actual biggest problem, which had a significantly negative impact on the feel-good factor, was the noise/restlessness in my room. But by that I don't mean in any way that the family has to work in the house/garden - this statement only refers to a massive stomping/stomping/steps over my room - so another nap/rest period as a night shift worker was rarely possible in the afternoon. Can be heard by wearing earplugs. My problem was listened to several times by friendly white people and the family tried to manage the room above me with a little more peace - with limited success. Sleep deprivation leads to discomfort. If you're wondering why I didn't move out - in this environment, quickly, in this buget - there's nothing to do.Price/performance not justified and not recommended for me as a vacationer. As a worker who sleeps overnight and doesn't take cleanliness too seriously - yes.Due to the friendly, accommodating family and the presence of functional electrical appliances in the kitchen - 2 stars.
