Rooms are modern.Location is central.Elevators are hopelessly overwhelmed, waiting time of 10 minutes.Breakfast is catastrophic, even if warnings are given about peak times, these are unacceptable circumstances:You sit crammed together facing strangers. The selection is limited, eggs are ice cold.

Great location and rich breakfast - the staff is friendly, effective and has the large crowds at breakfast and at reception well under control.However, the hotel has a lot of rooms and a slight prefabricated building character. In our room, the washbasin was located directly in the small hallway next to the open bedroom - on the one hand a short distance, on the other hand it took some getting used to.

Well, ok for a weekend. You don't have to book breakfast because it is really bad. No variety, no vegan alternatives, no variety. Bread, sausage, cheese carelessly on large plates. There are great cafes in the area where you can get a good breakfast. Breakfast room too small and associated with queuing at all stations. Room service didn't clean up, but there was a voucher for a free drink (not a cocktail). Beds very small and short.Staff is so friendly.

Had a room on the 10th floor, clean but small (sink in the room instead of in the bathroom, which was very annoying for me). Way too full at breakfast. Otherwise recommended for the location.

The room wasn't very big, but it was absolutely fine for the price. The location of the hotel is perfect and the staff was friendly and helpful. The only criticism: There are only four elevators, which was particularly problematic at breakfast time. It took up to 15 minutes to get to the eighth floor or back down. Apart from that I can recommend the hotel.

Room small but ok for this category. A closet would be good.Location is top. Employees speak sometimes. no German. Communication with hands and feet. At the bar there was only beer for two days. We didn't have that, was the statement and the employee stuck to it even though I showed him the bottle on the shelf. The next day I showed his colleague how to make a white wine spritzer.Be sure to book without breakfast. Much too small an area and mediocre selection. There are bakers right in front of the hotel.Staff friendly at breakfast.Cheap parking.

I had a very pleasant stay, I was greeted in a friendly manner, everything went quickly at check-in, I immediately felt at home, the room was clean, the breakfast was rich and delicious, I didn't miss anything, the staff were as quick as weasels, it was Always refilled when something was missing, so I was completely satisfied and would be happy to come back.

Great mid-range hotel near the train station in the middle of the city center. Many attractions (Zwinger, etc.) are within walking distance. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is rich.

The hotel scores with its central location and the newly renovated, clean rooms. The staff is friendly. The small bathrooms are very nice and there is enough storage space. The beds were comfortable, you will find a kettle, cups and coffee, tea, whitener and sugar as well as an iron and an ironing board. No cupboard or shelf for that. Maybe that's part of this chain's express hotel concept. At least a larger clothes rail with several hangers would be an advantage, especially for guests who stay longer than a weekend. It has already been described that some rooms have a sink in the room. Didn't apply to us. The choice of color in the foyer and breakfast room is a matter of taste. Also the seating. Reminds me of the furniture pick-up area at Ikea. The bar is fine. Many guests meet there in the evening. The breakfast concept needs work. The room is too small for a 10 floor room and we also had to queue. It has the feel of a cafeteria and it is loud. Food was ok. We've had enough. The concept obviously includes bakeables, similar to those in discount stores. Apple turnovers, chocolate rolls, croissants. The rolls too, but were ok. There were eggs, fruit salad, cereal, a few simple sausages and cheeses. Everything should be set up quickly and easily. The breakfast room should be enlarged, otherwise tourists will keep posting it. Conclusion. Ok for a short trip. If you are on express yourself, so to speak. It wouldn't be for me for much longer.

The Holiday Inn in Dresden has a great location – everything is easily accessible and you immediately feel at home. The rooms are nicely furnished, modern and above all very clean. There's really nothing to complain about here.Unfortunately we had a recurring problem with the door card. It didn't work several times, which was a bit annoying in the long run. However, the staff was always helpful and helped us quickly, but the constant failures were still annoying.Nevertheless, we would recommend the hotel because of the great rooms and the great location!

The hotel is very well located for visiting Dresden. It is a refreshed former Ibis, a positive change of brand. Friendly service, ok rooms (it's nice that there is a tea/coffee set). Breakfast is ok in terms of quantity and quality (it's just a pity that there are no scrambled eggs and hot sausages). It is good to take into account when there is a rush hour for breakfast - then you actually have to wait a while for free seats. Lack of hotel parking is not a problem - there is a public parking lot at the back of the hotel for 6 euros per day (on weekdays), you can always find a space. And if anyone is concerned about safety, there is a multi-story parking lot in Galeria Centrum for 15 euros per day.
