Perfect for a long weekend, very nice owners, very clean, and a great price/performance ratio. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

It was a perfect stay. The hosts are extremely nice, the breakfast was very good and the rooms were clean. There are common toilets and bathrooms: first bathroom with toilet and 2 shower and 2 sinks, second bathroom with 1 shower and 1 sink and one toilet.There is a train station 20 minutes walk away, the train takes 45 minutes to Stuttgart (every hour). Make sure you buy group day ticket if you are 2-5 persons, it's much cheaper than single.I would recommend this Gasthaus anytime, we had a really nice time while we were there.The beds are a little squeaky, and the wooden floor also here and there, but it's not a problem.

👎🏻👎🏻 Absolutely not recommended! 👎🏻👎🏻Very unfriendly, incompetent and an absolute disgrace!In my opinion it was very dirty and not cleaned properly. No private bathroom, just a shared bathroom and shared toilet. Very outdated equipment. You are addressed very rudely from the side, and that from the staff (owner). Data protection is also a foreign word..Absolutely not recommended!👎🏻👎🏻

Very nice and personal welcome, the room is absolutely ok except for the size ;-) of the sink. The breakfast is completely sufficient and requests seem to be taken into account appropriately (we didn't have any special ones). Delicious rolls. The location is pretty ok, easy to reach, it was quiet at night. The price/performance ratio is right and we would stay at the Vogelwarte again at any time.Thanks for the good service!

Quaint rooms with shared bathrooms. You can't really get it anywhere today at that price. Very friendly employees. A little away from the town center, but easy for young people to walk and for older people there is enough parking space in front of the door.

First of all, I would like to mention that you can see that the boss loves her work, always in a good mood, always smiling and there is always time for a conversation. Thank you for that!The room and the bathroom are very clean and well maintained, it's a shame that there is no sink in the room.Towels and soda were replenished and toiletries were also available. There are parking spaces directly in front of the house.Flexible check-out and check-in was great since I had a long journey. I've been here in the Vogelgarten a few times and I'm always happy to come back!Thank you for everything!Kind regards, Maria

A very warm welcome gave hope for a pleasant stay.We were there with a grandchild.The rooms have been modernized and everything is lovingly decorated, although the furniture is not of very high quality.Bathroom and toilet are in the hallway and for shared use. You have to like that, it was completely ok for us.The shower is spacious and there is also a small selection in the toilet, such as tampons, panty liners and hand creamon use.The breakfast was rich and partly offered as a buffet, so that everyone could find what they liked. Special requests were gladly accommodated.Even if the bird garden is located a little outside in a residential area, the journey is worth it.If the outdoor area has been newly renovated, it is also very comfortable to sit there. If you value a familiar, cozy atmosphere, this is the right place for you.The price performance ratio is very good.We would choose the inn again.Very dear thanks. Runge family

Great here you will be warmly welcomed & greeted with a smile. Great. True here because we surprised someone and it worked out great. The inn has a great parking lot in front of the house, clean, toilets and showers clean and always something for men and women if you've forgotten something important. The room we had was really comfortably furnished, mattresses were okay for me personally, a bit too low and too soft but that's more a matter of taste. But overall I can also highly recommend a great breakfast. Thank you very much for allowing us to take our cat with us, thank you very much.

Unfriendly host. My girlfriend had stopped shortly in front of the house and was immediately rudely asked to continue driving. A quick question about possible help would have been more appropriate. After this encounter, we no longer wanted any further experience.

We stayed in the bird garden for one night. The rooms are lovingly furnished, clean and well maintained. A small drawback is that the toilet, shower and sink are across the hall. Since we were the only guests in the hotel that night, it wasn't a problem (we didn't have any bathrobes with us ;) ). The sanitary facilities were very clean and well maintained. The shower drain was a bit clogged. When we brought this up, the owners immediately apologized and said they would look into it. The rooms are without carpet, which I really appreciate. We were able to cross-ventilate, which was very good considering the heat that is currently prevailing. The beds are comfortable, but unfortunately there is a lot of "gumbling" between them, even though they were pushed together. In the room we found a bottle of water and a little something sweet. The breakfast in the morning was rich, fresh and delicious. Juice, water, coffee, tea, cereal, rolls, sausage, cheese, honey, jam, fresh fruit, yogurt, quark, eggs... The owners were very friendly and accommodating. This has not always been a given since the pandemic.

Stayed in the Inn for two nights.Decent place. Beds are okay but not too comfortable. The doorknobs really need to be re-fixated. Both the bathroom doorknob and my room doorknob came off when trying to close the doors.Breakfast was nice with enough options but the cup in which my tea was served was pretty dirty.But the personnel was really nice and forthcoming 👍

Very nice operating couple, they have a kind word for everyone; you immediately feel welcome.Nice large rooms, clean, functionally furnished.You can also arrive late in the evening, then there is a safe with the keys outside the house.The number of parking spaces at the house depends on the number of rooms.There are some nice restaurants in the village.The location: very quiet, 30s zone, behind which the forest soon appears.
