The rooms are really bad. Can there be two single sheets and two single duvets on a double bed? I have never seen such bad service. I asked the employees for help and they speak neither German nor English. So I was shocked. We could not solve the sheet problem in two days. Water in the room is paid 4 euros and there are extremely ridiculous practices. I do not recommend

I would say a medium hotel. Okay for our purposes, but you could tell that the house had been around for a few years.The breakfast was good, but the selection of drinks in the evening was quite sparse.On the two days we were there it was more than 30°, the room was under the attic and there was no air conditioning. Just a fan.But what it definitely was, it was clean. This is not the case in every hotel.The staff we met was friendly and reserved.

The hotel is fine for a short stay. The room was clean and everything you needed was there. However, I find the water, which costs €4!! Offered in the room is really cheeky!! In all hotels I have stayed in, drinks were free in the rooms.The breakfast was ok. Unfortunately there wasn't a big selection, but you still got enough. Nevertheless, I think it's a shame that baked rolls are offered instead of fresh rolls from the bakery. Unfortunately, you can really taste the difference and that is the least that can be expected. Unfortunately we also had to wait a long time until everything was refilled. This is definitely better.

The parking lot costs €7 extra per day, there is no fridge in the room, just a hole covered with a door, but the water bottle in the room costs €4 uncooled. The window sill is a bit dusty, but otherwise it's generally clean, even if the carpet is clearly showing its age. The guest house has no elevator, there is no covered path to the main building, and you get wet in snow and rain.Breakfast is a simply put together buffet of average quality. The croissants and cappuccino are very good.Check-in and check-out are easy, the staff is friendlyJuly 2024

Parking cost €7 extra per day. Unfortunately not on booking.There was no refrigerator in the room and there was a bottle of water in the room. unrefrigerated for €4. I found it cheeky.It was very warm since it was in the attic. It was still loud outside in the evening. But we had to sleep with the window open because otherwise it would have been too warm. There was no air conditioning.The breakfast wasn't that great.Very sparse and not really good. That's better.The staff was very friendly. But it was enough to get through.

In itself a great hotel for a transit trip or a visit to the Porsche / Mercedes Museum.A very outdated hotel and upon arrival the reception was not super friendly. When we got to our room, the cord to open the shutters was broken so they could not open, making it very dark. Fortunately, this was quickly resolved by giving us another room, but apparently housekeeping or someone else had not noticed this yet. Room was not clean with rust on the tap. The beds were comfortable.Breakfast was delicious with fresh rolls, crackers, yogurt, coffee, etc. The staff there was enthusiastic and friendly.The downside is that parking costs are €7 per night. Large amount and feels a bit like a money grab.

Overall a good experience. Stayed there last year for a short business trip, low price and wanted to be in the area, and for that it was worth it. Room is nice enough and clean, but it is an old hotel, it had a mild hotel scent due to the carpet and furniture, however not very disturbing, just always there.Layout and entrance is a bit strange in a separate building to the reception and restaurant, which was not so nice due to the rain at that time.Breakfast is good, simple continental options, not fancy. They can make more special dishes if you ask them. I needed a breakfast on the go one day and they prepared it for me, sandwisches and fruits - very nice and surprising service!Parking is nice, with very easy access. Highway is nearby, and Münchingen is very well connected to Stuttgart / Ditzingen / Ludwigsburg / Leonberg / Feuerbach / Schwieberdingen areas. It really is a great location from this point of view.Most things are 5 minute walking distance from hotel: Lidl, Trolsch, Aral, Sport center, city center, etc.

Good location just outside Stuttgart. Rich breakfast. Clean and tidy. Nevertheless, I would have expected more for 88 EUR (including parking). My single room was very small and the bathroom was probably from the 80s. The room door is only 60 cm wide. Feeling good is different.

Just outside of Stuttgart, good to get to Stuttgart city center by train. Day ticket is worth itHotel staff very nice. Rooms still have carpets and could use a renovation. Everything was very clean

We stayed four days / three nights at the Novum Hotel Strohgäu, the staff / employees were very friendly & accommodating.In particular, Mr. Ivan Hammo from the reception was particularly helpful, courteous & nice.The breakfast was sufficient and good, nothing was missing. The hotel is very centrally located for excursions into the surrounding area and Stuttgart.
