Very friendly and courteous staff. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty.Wellness area and fitness are fantastic!Due to my job, I am extremely attentive and picky when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene. I couldn't find anything negative.My dog was very welcome and felt comfortable.What I found negative were the spiders and the extreme heat build-up in the rooms. The fittings in the bathroom are also getting very old. This can be fixed quickly and inexpensively and makes a massive difference.I will certainly come back for personal purposes and certainly for professional purposes.

Unfortunately, it's a rather dog-unfriendly concept. As a guest with a dog you are treated second class. You are actually not allowed to stay anywhere except in the lobby, in the Stüble (a room without a window) or in the room you have booked. It is understandable that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. However, you should at least make sure that the Stüble is set up for guests with dogs or is even open for breakfast. Unfortunately the bar is also completely closed. Unfortunately, the beer garden was not open in September despite summer temperatures (20°C+). It was open, but glasses from the whole weekend were still there when we left - which made it rather uncomfortable.All in all, you can unfortunately see that the hotel and the spa area benefit greatly from the rehabilitation clinic next to it - investment backlog is the keyword here. Everything is very old, the carpet in the room had strange stains; But we've now put that down to the fact that we were in a dog room. At the same time, friends of ours were in a "non-dog room" and had mold in the bathroom. Shower gel/shampoo was not sufficiently filled for our stay (3 nights), so it can be assumed that it was not checked before arrival.The WiFi is an absolute disaster and public. So not password protected!Price-performance rather poor. We won't be coming back.The breakfast should be highlighted positively. It was really delicious and balanced.

The kitchen was very good and it was great to go for a walk. Otherwise I can't explain why the hotel has four stars. The service is bad. Some of the employees are not friendly and you have to wait a long time until a table is assigned and you are served. The hotel is a bit old and the steam bath has probably been broken for a long time.

We spent a long weekend in this hotel in September. We have already traveled a lot and don't find the price-performance ratio in this hotel justified.We found positive:- Location hotel- Wellness areaWe found negative:- Room wasn't made once. We hung the card upside down on the door and in the evening it was turned back on the door. We went back to check the sign before we left the hotel because we weren't sure if we had put it up correctly. So it must have been turned back again.- Service in the restaurant: massively understaffed.- Kitchen: Food was delicious, but we found a maggot in the napkin by the bread basket. If the kitchen is as understaffed as the service staff, we ask ourselves whether and how the hygiene conditions can be maintained.- Rooms: Cleaning moderately during the stay, some spiders on the windows.

We stayed at the Allgäu Resort for 3 nights and felt very comfortable.Room: 4/5 starsThe room was large and also included a private balcony. 1 star deducted because - due to the outside temperature and sunny side - it was very warm when we first entered. However, it's completely fine when ventilating at night. There is no air conditioning. When it comes to the equipment, including bathrobes for the spa area, etc., everything has been thought of with attention to detail.Breakfast: 5/5 starsGreat buffet that leaves nothing to be desired.Spa area: 5/5 starsSwimming pool great. Nicely separated from the rooms, but still reachable in a few seconds thanks to its location in the basement.Directions/Parking: 4/5 starsDue to its location in Bad Grönenbach, it can only be easily reached by car. Parking on the sun deck or in the underground car park incurs extra costs (€5/10 per day).Service: 5/5 starsStaff are consistently professional and courteous, especially during business trips/billing arrangements at check-out.Location: 5/5 starsGreat views thanks to the elevated location, surrounded by forest and meadows. Quiet and nice ambience. The health resort particularly attracts guests with a lot of life experience.Overall, a clear recommendation, certainly also for a break in beautiful Bad Grönenbach.

Booked for a week based on a recommendation and was very satisfied. It was a lovely, relaxing holiday to which the whole hotel contributed. Very competent staff. Friendly and helpful. Rooms always clean. Breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Dinner was always a highlight. We'll be back.

We stayed at the Hotel Allgäu Resort for 1 night. Reception, rooms, wellness and 99% of the employees were fine.However, the 1%, the service employee at the reception desk in the restaurant, was underground.We have never been so skilfully ignored and left standing by a service employee as by this person and it wasn't just us that happened.Again and again, guests who had already eaten came to sign the drink consumption, these guests were served without any ifs and buts.Only after a little energetic intervention, after 10 minutes of ignoring, when someone who was standing at the counter almost 10 minutes after us wanted to sign, was we assigned a table.When we wanted to go to the table, we were whistled back and explained very politely that we had to wait until the table was turned over.As written, there was 1 service employee, but her behavior pretty much made the stay negative. We've really never experienced anything like this before.

Very nice hotel, but a bit old. But still very well maintained. Dogs are allowed, but not welcome everywhere. Swimming pool and showers are clean and well maintained. Gladly again.
