We spent one night at the Hotel Halm and were completely satisfied.Our room was spacious and quietly located at the back. The bathroom is relatively new, everything is very clean. Gorgeous hotel. We stayed for 3 days with lake view rooms. The fabulous view with the sailing boats!!! At the reception we were welcomed and looked after with care and attention by all the staff and in particular by Mrs. Rizzo. Luxury structure, elegant and sophisticated both in the rooms and in the common areas. Private and quiet environment. Strategic location, in front of the train station and behind the pedestrian area. We had already stayed in 2023. It was a wonderful reconfirmation confirmed, this time, by the lake view rooms. Absolutely recommended structure.

We were welcomed very friendly and courteously.We had the corner room with a small balcony.The hotel is a bit old, but that's exactly what gives it its charm.Whether it was the marble bathroom with the gold taps or the beautiful hallway with staircase and the Moroccan restaurant, I was overwhelmed by the charm of this hotel.The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.... Responds to requests and needs....also very polite.In my opinion, the breakfast buffet cannot be beaten in terms of variety and is of good quality.We slept very well and felt welcome and comfortable.The proximity to the city is a big plus, as is the opportunity to stroll along Lake Constance.We had a wonderful holiday and another visit is not out of the question.

We stayed at the Hotel Halm in SeptemberThe staff was extremely friendly and competent in every respect.The room was clean and bright. At our request, the room was cleaned every day. The mattresses and duvets were very comfortable in terms of quality.We slept wonderfully every night.The bathroom was a bit dated. But it fit perfectly with the style of the hotel. Golden taps, marble etc. It added to the charm of the hotel. So it didn't bother us.The only thing that bothered us was the high and slippery bathtub. At our age, 74, it's not that easy to use anymore! I would prefer a walk-in shower today.The breakfast buffet was huge, the selection was very large and delicious.Since we are very small eaters, we only had breakfast once in the hotel.I can only recommend the hotel.

This was our third time at the Hotel Halm, 2-3 years apart. And unfortunately the hotel has come out of its prime in recent years. We already had a superior room in this hotel that was very nice and a suite that was a disappointment for what it cost. For this reason we had a standard room (223) this time and unfortunately this showed us that this was the last time we stayed in this hotel. The dirt under the mattresses (hair, blood stains), dirty furniture such as the chairs in the room and the also totally outdated bathroom are too expensive. Worn fittings, a toilet flush with a life of its own and poorly draining water in the shower tray. When we mentioned when checking out that the room was unfortunately dirty, we were asked about the room category. As if that could play a role in cleanliness. And that in a 4 star hotel where the night costs 200 euros. Oh well, the room is only cleaned every 3 days and you also have to order a change of towels at the reception. The breakfast is a small highlight... Except for the baked rolls, which you have to look for under the magnifying glass... I've never seen such tiny rolls. Otherwise, the breakfast offers a good selection. The staff was very friendly and attentive. However, this no longer saves the tired impression of the hotel. And what I also wanted to mention is of course the parking situation. You can only park in public parking garages in the area for a daily rate of €24. We didn't think it was very nice either. But we actually already knew that from last time.

A traditional house that is getting a bit old. But the rooms are well maintained and clean, the service is top and the breakfast was also tasty. Great location right in the center. Unfortunately there is no parking lot, but there are plenty of parking garages nearby.

Be sure to check out the pictures here! The worst hotel we have ever had. Never 4 stars. Old, dirty and broken. Broken toilet, mold and dirt. We didn't feel comfortable. We have addressed the deficiencies several times, but nothing has happened. Ultimately, only 6% of the hotel bill was reimbursed. You probably need every euro for the renovation. We won't remember the vacation well. Therefore, we will advise everyone not to visit and will share our experiences in all available review portals.EDIT (response to the hotel's response):Nobody forces you to respond to Google reviews. Communication with you (which unfortunately turned out to be very unprofessional) is not planned at this point. Unfortunately, your response also offers no added value for Google users.

We had a wonderful stay :) the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast left nothing to be desired and the room was clean and friendly. The hotel is a bit older and the ravages of time are also affecting the rooms. The bathroom in particular was a bit old-fashioned. But we found this charming because everything worked and, as I said, was extremely clean and well-kept. We would love to come back :)

If you want to spoil yourself, you should check out Hotel Halm, it is gorgeous. The hotel has been around since 1878 and has been very well maintained. The rooms are large, ceilings high and beds comfy. Service was exceptional, and the breakfast buffet was amazing.
