The two of us spent a night here in a shared room. Everything was clean, the bed was okay and there were towels too. The location is great, right at the train station near the lake. The self-check-in was very uncomplicated and so was the check-out at the reception. There is a well-equipped kitchen for cooking yourself, coffee and milk, as well as some spices and basic ingredients such as oil are also all available for use. This way you can save more money and benefit from the generally very friendly atmosphere among the guests and the team. Definitely recommended for the price, we would have liked to stay here longer.

At 30 euros a night I wouldn't have said anything. But 67 euros per night in this single room with shared bathroom/toilet without breakfast is a disgrace. The room with the charm of a former government office can hardly be topped in terms of desolation. Wildly thrown together furniture, a pseudo-creative wall painting, a clumsily and crookedly mounted lamp on the bed, without a bedside table or mirror, but with a huge pin board - for whatever(?). The internet photos look significantly better than the real impression. The hallway serves as a storage room. The access to the shower cubicles is so tiny that someone who is a bit larger cannot get in and remains without a shower. Check-in/out was completely without personal contact via a key box. At least it was reasonably clean and the location is good. Nevertheless: I have never had a worse price-performance ratio.(For comparison: the day before I was in Überlingen at the Hotel Stadtgarten (3 stars+, with pool and fitness room) for 85 euros in a tasteful single room with its own bathroom, including a very good breakfast!)

Located on Lindau Island, this hostel is easily accessible by bike and train.The double rooms are spacious and self check-in is possible without any problems. We stayed here as part of a cycling trip around Lake Constance and were able to get some decent rest.The showers and washing areas are fine. There is the possibility to wash there. The fly screens on our windows were a bit old, which meant that there were either mosquitoes or heat in the room. This should perhaps be renewed, especially in such proximity to the lake.

Simple, inexpensive overnight accommodation. Clean.Small drawback: no storage space for bicycles. So my bike broke down in front of the hostel after 30 minutes...Good location, friendly staff - didn't charge us for the wrong booking. Thanks for that too!Tip: Bring your bike to the train station.

The island hostel is always **I come regularly** very clean, everything is tidy and works and, above all, it is not washed with any offensive smelling fabric softeners :)Of course it's not a 5 star hotel, but for the price and requirements everything is great. In addition, there are very nice people who take care of everything.Continued success!

We have booked the hostel for next year for our wedding guests, which is why I can't say much about the hostel itself. However, I have to mention in advance the extremely friendly contact with Ms. Heilmann, she really went out of her way to make sure that the booking actually worked. It is right next to the train station, next to the port and the old town. The rooms are large, bright and clean. The staff is attentive and charming. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine, dryer... Everything to share, as well as the bathrooms and showers, but it is clean and quiet. The room has a desk to work on.
