My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days in total at this hotel so we can experience Ubud. Location wise, it was in the city centre but also far away from the traffic and the city’s noise but about a 15-20 mins walk to the city centre’s busy areas. We took the garden view room, it’s a bit small with only one closet and the only mirror you have is the toilet mirror, which btw is in the middle of the room. The cleanliness of the place is not the best but if you tell the staff to clean they’ll come immediately to clean it for you. We had stains literally everywhere, on the towels, the bedsheets and the pillows. I think the laundry they use doesn’t remove stains 🤷🏻‍♀️. The staff are very sweet and friendly, everything we ask for they try to get it right away. They have scooters for rentals for a good price. We hired a scooter for a day and it cost us 70k idr. There’s a form for breakfast where you fill it a day before and choose what time you want the breakfast served. Oh and btw there’s a lot of insects and geckos around so be prepared. That’s very normal as you’re living in a forest. But don’t worry the staff can kill the geckos and take them out of your room. There’s so many ants too 🐜

My stay at this hotel had some positives, but there are also a few areas that need improvement. There where a lot of ants in the room, which indicates a need for regular pest control. The bathroom glass doors were not clean - full of stains. I was missing a shelf for shower items, adding one would be very helpful. We were not able to use the bathtub that was often dirty due to a broken glass above it, causing brown, muddy residue to drip down. Additionally, the towels and bed linen had stains, suggesting the need for better cleaning or replacement.I also encountered a large spider in the room, likely because the doors don’t seal well. Improving the door seals would prevent this. Surely this hotel is located in between the jungle, but somehow I never had this issue at any jungle hotel in ubud. Similarly, there were mosquitos in the room, probably due to the same problem. Installing a mosquito net or fixing the door seals would be beneficial. On the positive side, the hotel is beautifully hidden away and very quiet, offering a peaceful retreat. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient. With these improvements, this hotel could offer a much more pleasant stay.

We had 2 rooms, garden view room 2 and pool view room 6.Garden view room was a bit smaller and bathtub was a bit dirty. We went on early tours on all the nights we stay here so we didn't experience breakfast. Hotel offered us packed box breakfast so we can bring it with us. However, the first night they forgot us and I was so confused. When we got back, staff asked if we would like to have the packed breakfast then. The pool was so nice and lovely. However, during our stay it was always occupied by others so we only could swim late night after the walk outside. The place was next door to the fire dance. 100k for a ticket and only happened every tues and sat at 7pm.Also, plenty of massage places around. 10-15 mins walk to main road and ubud shop.Loved the location. Many ants btw. 🐜
