I have been living in this hotel for 42 years, the owners are very friendly and always helpful. All rooms very clean, many with balconies. The aim hotel is Le Bistro, where you can also order meals to your room. The hotel has self-service soft drinks and coffee in the entrance area at normal prices. My highlight is the Gasthaus Schwanenwasen in the Black Forest, which is also owned by the owners. Here they serve very good regional Baden cuisine and many game specialties, all at great prices. The best thing is the location of the hotel 150 m from the Kurhaus, out of the hotel and you are immediately in the pedestrian zone, parking spaces 80 m away (Kurhaus underground car park), or 150 m Augustaplatz car park. Motorcycles can park in the hotel's courtyard. The fact that the elevator was broken for over 2 weeks is due to the repair company who couldn't deliver the parts so quickly, but it is now running again. In addition, during the outage you could take the separate elevator, which is actually for the clinic, up to the 3rd FLOOR.You should also take a look at the prices from time to time, all hotels in the area are much more expensive and breakfast is included in the room price.I can't say anything negative about the hotel.Always happy to come back.

Great hotel in the middle of Baden-Baden. We had a tower room on the 3rd floor with a view of the colonades - a dream! Everything is within walking distance: Kurhaus, colonnades, city center with shops where you can find everything your heart desires including restaurants, new castle, thermal baths……. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast offers several types of coffee, tea, fruit, yoghurt, rolls, sausage and cheese, so that you can go on tour feeling refreshed.

Rooms not nicely furnished, everything old and in need of renovation. The tightness of the windows is the last thing, you could hear everything from outside. There was no safe available in the room and we could only reach the 4th floor via stairs because the elevator was broken. When the outside temperature is 10 degrees, no heating.

We had some wonderful days in Baden-Baden, the hotel met our expectations. A cozy city hotel, very centrally located. Everything was reachable on foot in just a few minutes. The house has the charm of bygone times, which we like very much. It didn't bother us that the plaster was "crumbling" here and there and that's always the case with a historic building. The staff and the boss were very friendly, you felt like you were in good hands. The only downside was actually none... The parking garage was a 10-minute walk away, but you can stop at the hotel to load and unload. So we parked our car, bought a multi-day ticket and only picked it up again on the way home. In between we did everything on foot. Baden-Baden was definitely worth a trip.2 years later: a rejuvenation treatment would be good for the house, it is increasingly crumbling and the staircase, elevator etc... urgently need a general overhaul

Unfortunately it is very old. The staff was nice, but the rooms and the hallway are really no longer in good shape, dirty seals, broken tiles, sinks mounted on kitchen countertops. Of course you can sleep there, but unfortunately it's not really nice. I skipped breakfast after I saw that, for example, the cream cheese wasn't refrigerated and there was generally a small selection.
