Location, benefits and staff of 10!They stored our luggage for 2 weeks while we traveled through Bali and Gili.We are deeply grateful for the incredible treatment and for your kindness.Everything perfect! The location is really good. There are restaurants and major tourist attractions right in front. It is close to Monkey Forest and Ubud Palace. However, there is a bit of noise and noise. I didn't mind because the kids were louder.It was disappointing that there was only one small swimming pool and that the reception area was covered with small stones, which was pretty but difficult to drag heavy luggage. A filter shower is essential. I had to write it one day at a time.

The hotel has rooms located on the main street. However, due to the endless noise, it is impossible to sleep and get a good night's rest. The hotel did not warn at any time about the location of the room. The reservation says that the room faces the pool or garden.

This is one of the most easy 5 stars I’ve ever given. We had a place booked in Ubud which was taken over by pests, was unhygienic, had a way worse location, had worse rooms and a worse pool, for around the same money!Jani’s cottage was a great place to stay (sadly) for one night, because we left early in the other accommodation. Big plus for the staff too! 🙌🏽Only side is that indeed, the rooms can be a bit noisy. For us as somewhat younger people it was absolutely no problem, and the location has 1000 plus points too! So choose your battles I guess, take 6 taxi’s a day or some noise in your room. Thanks for the stay!

Hotel a little noisy in the rooms but very well placed for visiting Ubud on foot. we had a very spacious room for 4. The service is very pleasant. We didn't use the pool but it seemed nice.

Completely enjoyed my short stay at Jani’s place! Stayed in room 7 situated at the back of the hotel which was surprisingly quiet considering the hotels location. Plenty of dinning options just a short walk from the hotel. Clean room, large comfy bed, beautiful swimming pool, decent wifi speed & of course very friendly service! Great hotel for a short stay. Highly recommend & will definitely return!

Sorry, but this place is not suitable for our family. Regardless of the location, it is extremely noisy. My room faced the street, and even when I moved to a room near the back by the swimming pool, there was no difference. Being on the main street, the noise was constant. I stayed here for three nights and couldn’t sleep at all due to the loud music and cars driving by every night. I would not recommend this place for families or light sleepers. You will never be able to relax.

The hotel is behind a Warung Makan Kedaton (Balinese local restaurant). The entrance of the hotel was so smelly! We requested a quiet family room, but we were given an upstairs family room which was next to the main road and next door playing band music throughout the night (up to 11pm). We couldn’t sleep due to the loud and constant noise from the traffic and the loud band music. When we wanted to change the room, first they refused to do it. The owner of this place (I Made Mardika) was so rude, and unprofessional and made racial comments during the telephone conversation. We have been traveling all over the world and never had this kind of unpleasant experience! The sales manager Ninit was not customer oriented. Finally, we managed to change the room (after wasting a half-day battle) to a quieter deluxe room which is cheaper than the family room. (Please note, no refund was offered or provided.)In our room water was leaking from the AC all the time; we could not use it. We have requested a repair, but their Engineers could not even fix it. The kettle wall socket was not installed properly and possible electrocution. We were given an old model Hair dryer which did not blow hot air. Upon our request only they provided an old model iron for a few hours to use it. The ironing board was so low, so we had to bend down and use it. We were told that they don’t provide milk or creamer to the rooms for tea and coffee.The only positive thing is that some of the Staff are very helpful and tried their best. This place is not even a 2-star hotel!We will never stay here again! This hotel is so much worse than what you will see in the pictures on their website.

Jani's CottageIt is strategically located on the edge of the Ubud highway. The size of the cottage is not too big. Close to minimarkets, restaurants, spas, money changers etc. The door to the room facing the balcony is not tight enough so you can hear the sound of vehicles coming from the street. While staying there was the sound of live music from next to the hotel so it really disturbed your sleep time. Staff friendly and helpful. Only stair access is available, not wheelchair friendly. The swimming pool is not very big. The room size is quite spacious, but unfortunately there are lots of mosquitoes in the room. The toiletries are quite complete. The bed size is large and comfortable. The AC is not very cold. The spacious balcony can be used to dry clothes. Car parking in the basement, access to the top is only stairs.

It faces Hanuman Road, has underground parking, and has its own airport shuttle service. The rooms are comfortable and there is a mini pool. Breakfast is also available, so it's a great value. You could spend your money on a resort hotel, but I think it's a good option if you want to spend your time freely and without worrying about costs. The staff is also kind and makes you feel safe. There is a nasi campur restaurant, a pizza shop, a cafe, a gelato shop, a taco shop and other international cuisines, a laundry shop, and a convenience store nearby, so it's convenient.
