Here you can make Schläfle in the former water tower, for just under 300 stones you are there, hajo. Unique in Karlsruhe. I doubt whether the view is that great, as there is already a lot of development around it. You have to know for yourself whether it has to be. On that note, happy Towerwatch.

Spending the night here is something extraordinary. The bathroom is on an intermediate level in an old water tower. Between the sink on one side and the toilet on the opposite side is the shower. Nice and spacious, but a bit narrower on the outside. The only small disadvantage is that there is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom. So you can all hear toilet noises upstairs. The room upstairs has a large double bed, a good TV, air conditioning, minibar and a great view. At night it is completely silent as long as the window is closed. Only the minibar hums a bit. You should be fit enough to climb some narrow stairs, but otherwise nice and cozy! Breakfast in the morning at the Hotel am Gottesauer Schloss also has enough to make you happy.

As a surprise for the man, this overnight stay in the water tower was absolutely successful! Of course not exactly a bargain, but you don't do something like that every day. The maximum was made of the conditions, modern and practical furnishings, we were thrilled!Friendly and professional contact with the staff at the Hotel Gottesauer Schloß. Breakfast there was tasty and sufficient.

A truly extraordinary experience: spending the night in the historic water tower. Here modern furnishings have been combined with old substance in great detail.After 80 steps, up the tower and through the open bathroom, you find yourself in front of the double bed under the roof dome. The air conditioning is already running because the sun warms us well here. The minibar is well stocked. There is no need for closets for the special overnight stay.Check in and breakfast at the nearby hotel at Gottesau Castle. The friendly owner and her team make the stay perfect.

Very special place to stay. Unfortunately, the view that one would have in a tower was not integrated into the concept (only skylights). The location is good and it is nice and quiet in winter. In the summer, however, the kindergarten, park and apartment buildings can certainly be a nuisance. The contact persons are super friendly. Everything was very well organized. You can argue about the price. I wouldn't do it again for that. However, it was a nice, unique experience.

My wife and I spent a night in this incredibly extraordinary location. This is furnished with great attention to detail. The hotel staff and the boss are super friendly, helpful and make all your wishes come true. It was a wonderful experience that we will always remember. Is definitely recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional place to stay overnight.

It was a great overnight stay, an overnight experience if you like.It is actually designed for couples because there is only one double bed.Two things that weren't good, but that my husband and I were able to handle:It was incredibly hot up there in the sleeping area. When we got to the top the thermometer was at 32 degrees. So no temperature in which you could sleep comfortably. No air conditioning, so all the windows were open and the mobile fan helped a lot.Second drawback; You actually shouldn't be sensitive to bathroom noises. So it's really only for couples who can handle it.Otherwise we had a great, smooth stay. Gladly again.

We booked the smallest luxury suite for 2 nights.The tower itself is of course unique. Unfortunately it is in the middle of a new residential area - there is a kindergarten right next door. So there was no peace and quiet, just children's noise during the day and young park visitors at night taking advantage of the weather and celebrating.About the object itself:Unique because only one room - but far from a luxury standard. Two rooms on two floors. The bathroom downstairs is completely open, all noises and smells penetrate into the bedroom because the extractor didn't work or wasn't there. We couldn't figure it out.The bedroom is on the upper floor - duvets and covers were of hostel standard. Thin, made of polyester - the pillows didn't provide any support. At least duvet covers should be made of cotton for the so-called luxury class. The mattress was very soft.The temperature in the rooms was unbearable, over 25 degrees at night. In summer no overnight stay there is pleasant or bearable. There is no air conditioning, the fan was unusable.The minibar was only stocked with two bottles of orange juice and two small bottles of mineral water.And another negative surprise after the first tiring night: no table was reserved for us at the advertised bakery and they couldn't find a place for us either.Tip for other guests: Lotti's Dream in the city center or the Rih on Waldstrasse: Guests are welcome here, find space and enjoy a delicious breakfast.Conclusion:Good marketing, overpromising and the guest is left alone. Completely overpriced and luxury is different. Just a converted tower is not enough - a shame.

Very nicely and modernly furnished, but also expensive and so far without air conditioning. A no go in summer. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether a “one-room hotel” suits them. Breakfast is available at the bakery opposite.
