We were a large group (24 people) of exhibitors at a trade fair. Nevertheless, Podelwitz made it possible for us to sit together at a large table. At the reception we were given enough bread and snacks for the entire table. The food that we were allowed to order in advance was excellent and on time for everyone at the table. The dessert was also excellent!

The restaurant that every German wants. Good and high-quality traditional cuisine, romantic and rustic furnishings, great and courteous service. In terms of quality, the composition of the food is very high. You simply can't do more than that, made from meat, potatoes and co. get out.The ambience is beautifully calm, relaxing, and yet very lovingly designed. There is something to discover on every corner!The only small drawback would be the sanitary facilities. It's not really a point deduction, but the rooms are still getting old, the floor is a bit sticky and the sinks and fittings are calcified. A few cobwebs on the ceiling etc. A bit of a shame - then our visit would have been perfect!

Went to the country inn today for a birthday with great-grandma (95) and great-grandchildren (3 of them - all about 3). If you're looking for something to complain about, you'll always find something. We were all very enthusiastic about the wonderful, chic atmosphere. The toilets are very clean (there is also a separate toilet for wheelchair users). Huge green plants, bright light, antique furniture, lots of things are eye-catchers. The restaurant was fully booked and despite the high number of guests, they were looked after in an absolutely respectful and friendly manner. Every request was catered for (variations to meals, for example). There wasn't anyone looking askance when the dwarves were "moving" because there is a small children's corner with toys. Unfortunately, we already had cold temperatures so we couldn't explore the outside area, but it looked lovingly designed. Great-grandma could still remember an incident from 1946 when she was dancing here at the age of 17. She said a lot had happened in the country inn. She was also impressed. The location is certainly also suitable for larger celebrations. The old dance hall really has potential. In general, the seating is not that cramped - everyone has their privacy at wonderful old, huge, antique wooden tables.We felt really comfortable (ages 3-95!) We would love to come back!!!! An absolute insider tip on the outskirts of the city!Thank you for the lovely, quiet evening and a big thank you to the service and of course the kitchen :)

Nice little inn with a rustic guest room and a nice outdoor area. Service was quick and friendly, and they are open to children's wishes and peculiarities. Priced within what can currently be described as normal levels. The proximity to the airport, a lake and Leipzig (zoo) offer many opportunities for a visit.

A great inn, location, furnishings, service, staff, food and prices are all great.Since it was quite full, we expected to wait a little longer, but it was pretty quick and it was very plentiful and tasty.If we stop nearby again we will definitely stop again.Highly recommend this inn.

We were able to witness a golden wedding on August 31, 2024 in this beautiful country inn Podelwitz. The ambience was worth the drive there. Quiet location, everything relaxed, nostalgia of the furnishings at its finest. There was another wedding party in the adjacent rooms and with other guests in the house, and no one noticed the hustle and bustle of the staff. There is no sign of a staff shortage here. Staff very friendly, attentive. The food was excellently prepared and tasty. There was something for every palate. Thanks to all the employees who specially equipped this golden wedding anniversary and the service staff. All the best.

Dear friends, if you want to eat delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere, then the Landgasthof Podelwitz is exactly the right location. Starting with the unusual menu, through the friendly service, to the completely casual ambience. We'd love to come back.

The food tasted very good and was attractively presented. The portion size was more than generous and the service was very nice. We had a place in the beautiful beer garden. However, there is a point deduction here. After eating, my light-colored clothing was heavily soiled from the seating.
