A hotel with a good price-performance ratio within walking distance of the train station, about 15 minutes to the city center. The rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be uncomfortable on the sunny side. An existing good fan helps to a limited extent. The staff are extremely friendly and competent and leave every stay with pleasant memories, making this hotel our first choice in Halle for years.

IBIS + IBIS BUDGET in Leipzig-City have been closed since around February 2024 following major water damage. The fire department was on site for days. Today, May 22, 24, both hotels will be closed for many months. Through the window it looks as if the renovation work hasn't started yet, and perhaps the cause hasn't even been found yet. More major construction work will be necessary... The fact that this is not communicated to the guests who were canceled for no reason, nor on the Internet, on Google, Google Maps or at the window on site is really very weak!

Leipzig City Festival 2024, I booked for one person because I come and work specifically for this every year. You have to book in time for these events, otherwise room prices will not be paid. I booked here almost a year in advance! The fact that my room is canceled out of nowhere, without any reason or information, is unacceptable.Apparently quick money plays a big role here, you just throw out all the individuals and you can rent to 2...This star is my thank you for your behavior!

The staff was great, very friendly and helpful as well as attentive. Didn't find something at breakfast and was approached independently.The room is large enough for a short stay and there is even a kind of open closet. Breakfast had almost everything your heart could desire and the waffles are, as always, my highlight after a long hike.Many restaurants and sights are within walking distance and there is a bus right outside the door. The main train station is also only 10 minutes away.

We stayed at the Ibis hotel for 3 nights. The room was small but completely sufficient for our purposes (visiting the city with shopping, etc.). The room was largely clean and had no defects. The only thing I have to complain about is the bed. It was very hard and squeaked and creaked with every movement, which disturbed my sleep a bit. Furthermore, the pillows were just air like in almost every hotel.The staff was always very friendly and helpful, although you could ask your guests how their arrival and stay were.The breakfast had a wide selection and nothing was missing,Unfortunately, the rolls were a bit firm and you could vary the types of sausage and cheese, just like with scrambled eggs. But everything was delicious and the little highlight were the waffles that you could freshly bake yourself.There were fresh fruit juices coffee in various varieties.The location of the hotel is first-class, right in the center and easy to reach by car, bus or train. A great starting point for visiting the city.We were there by car and used the underground car park, unfortunately it is not immediately clear on booking and on the website that you have to pay extra for the underground car park. That's not a bad thing, it's just nice to know.All in all we had a good stay.

Unfortunately the room was ice cold and not really clean. Even though I turned the heating on full blast, it wasn't much warmer the next morning. In particular, a cold bath in the morning is no fun. I found breakfast very good, it was constantly replenished so that everything was always fresh. Great location close to the train station and market square.

The hotel can be reached on foot from the main train station in just a few minutes. It is located in the traffic-calmed city center, the rooms at the back are opposite a museum and therefore completely quiet.The rooms are modernly furnished in the usual Ibis style (the latest generation) and have - in my opinion - a very good Ibis mattress. The room was well clean. WiFi was free and worked well.Thanks to my status with Accor, a free late checkout was possible, thank you very much!The breakfast was rich, including fresh fruit salad.I redeemed the voucher for the welcome drink for a coffee for the onward journey; Many thanks to the friendly receptionist who generously filled my coffee cup.In this Leipzig hotel, too, the bed tax is added to the bill, according to the city of Leipzig's regulations, annoyingly (and unlike in other cities) even for business trips, but of course the hotel can't do anything about it.Overall, a highly recommended hotel!

Directly in the city center, we prefer to have breakfast i.d. Close to a cozy café - the rooms are simple but functional, quieter towards the back, parking directly in the building is great and reduced in price :)
