It was a pleasant experience to be able to vacation in such a beautiful place like Oschatz. It was idyllic to be able to stay right next to the market square and the church.The staff is friendly, uncomplicated, accommodating and responds to requests.The hotel is clean and well maintained.The food is delicious.The private parking lot in the hotel's backyard, which is only accessible to hotel guests through a gate, is also practical.We enjoyed the days in your hotel! Thank you!

Everything is a bit old-fashioned and too expensive, service is sufficient, sometimes overwhelmed on weekends. Good location.

I give 5 stars because it is a very nice house. Super well centrally located. Somehow also very loving service. Nice little German menu.Actually it would have fewer stars because a wine wasn't available and the cocktails were just bad. But who drinks cocktails in a house like that?And unfortunately the staff is very overwhelmed. Savings are being made everywhere. But the friendliness made us forget all the little mistakes.

Hotel Gasthaus zum Schwan is simply recommended.As a family of 17, we booked half board and were pleasantly surprised by the clean rooms and the good food. Thank you for the lovely time we were able to enjoy there.

We stayed at this hotel for a short trip. It was the first vacation with our two-month-old baby.We were really impressed by the hotel, the service and the rooms are really great. We had half board and were thrilled that you could choose from so many dishes in the evening and you didn't have the usual two dishes to choose from.We were also helped with small problems and we were even allowed to eat our dessert in the room because our baby was unhappy.We'll definitely be back.

Great location, friendly staff. Check-in with a key box after 10 p.m. was also no problem after consultation.Good breakfast.Room was a bit old - air conditioning didn't work. It's a shame because it was booked that way.

When we were looking for a place to eat at lunchtime, we found it there.From our seats on the (wine) green terrace we were able to observe the colorful hustle and bustle around the market.The service and cuisine convinced us. The homemade lemonades are worth recommending.Thanks to the team!

We spent three lovely days in the hotel. We were completely satisfied, there was nothing to complain about. The staff is nice and attentive, rooms, everything is perfectly clean. We were completely thrilled at breakfast and dinner. Price and performance were the icing on the cake. Oschatz is a clean, beautiful city and the Hotel zum Schwan tops it all off. Highly RECOMMENDED 👍

I was only there one night. Everything was clean and tidy, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was great, cheap in comparison. The room was very quiet, but very small, which is okay for one night. Only the toilet bowl is so inconvenient next to the shower that someone with long legs would have real problems. I don't have long legs, but it was still difficult. The mattress was far too soft for me. Overall okay for one night

We spent three wonderful days in Oschatz. The center of Central Saxony, so to speak. The towns of Döbeln, Torau, Wurzen and Grimma are close together and are just waiting to be explored. The tower keeper's apartment at the top of the church in Oschatz is an experience. Thank you The hotel staff were also friendly from the very first hour. The kitchen also deserves our praise, especially for the good breakfast. (We thought it was great that all the candles were lit early on, it was a nice atmosphere.) We also found that interesting "Airport-like access to the building next door !!! )All in all a very nice house, compared to other hotels in this chain it would have deserved 4 stars! Recommended!
