Beautiful, stylish hotel in Unterallgäu for a relaxing overnight stay when traveling on the A96/A7. The only point of criticism was the breakfast, which was good but lacking in atmosphere, which was just a shame. The service staff were there and certainly did their job, but took no notice of the guests. That's a shame!

Very nice hotel in a very valuable renovated castle.We felt very comfortable as a family alongside the many conference guests.The sauna is very nice and is heated to order.Breakfast wasn't the same every day (one day with croissant, other day without croissant and without lactose-free milk).Coffee specialties (e.g. cappuccino) are only available upon order…

A beautiful hotel with very modern rooms (except for the TV in the room, which is mini-small).Dinner of excellent quality. Very courteous staff. In the evening Ms. Hofmeister was there for us, very, very friendly. We felt very comfortable all around.The overall facility is simply wonderful.We will definitely come back.

A hidden Gem in the middle of this small village of Lautrach, one would not expect. We spent a night here on our hiking tour along the river Iller and we loved it. The staff was super nice, the rooms were clean, well in shape, in the style of the late 90s. The wellness area is a welcomed perk for the wet, cold weather of fall.

The castle definitely has flair and is located in the cozy town of Lautrach, a good starting point for various activities. Unfortunately, the standard rooms are very functionally furnished, very small, uncomfortable beds, definitely not 4 star quality. Our stay was still pleasant because we had the large wellness area almost to ourselves.There is definitely still potential for improvement.

We were at Lautrach Castle from September 27th to 29th, 2024 and were thrilled.Our stay was a complete success. From the friendly welcome, the special atmosphere and the quiet room, the wellness area. We were particularly impressed by the excellent food and the attentive and friendly service from all the staff.

Beautiful castle hotel - more for seminar participants than for holidaymakers. Breakfast only until 9!Breakfast not worthy of a 4* - no coffee specialties, just filter coffee, ready-made scrambled eggs, generally a modest selection.Beautiful, clean and renovated rooms - unfortunately without a kettle.Parking spaces available

A historical place where Einstein and other (physics) Nobel Prize winners have stayed. Today it is probably mainly a place for seminars. Very well preserved/restored building with abstract paintings and sculptures, with a large park that invites you to walk and relax (lots of benches).Private individuals probably stay overnight in the annex building in very nice, modern rooms decorated in light wood.The staff is super friendly, the breakfast is excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, although not exactly cheap.There are plenty of parking spaces on the castle grounds after the entrance gate.I really enjoyed the stay here. The price for overnight accommodation including breakfast was very moderate - maybe I was just lucky with the booked date?The landscape (location) in this area speaks for itself: Iller cycle path right next door and of course the Allgäu foothills of the Alps for hiking or tours.I hope to come back soon

Lautrach Castle is a really recommendable hotel.The beautiful historical buildings are located in a well-kept park that invites guests to linger. The various buildings are connected to each other via cellar corridors. Everything is very spacious and meticulously designed.The great breakfast also rounds off the positive picture.

Highly recommended. Nice location. Park great.Dinner small menu but well prepared. Very good open wine.Standard double room unfortunately in one of the outbuildings adjacent to a children's school. Parents arriving and leaving early in the morning and also chatty parents.The toilet vent is combined with the lighting and is annoyingly loud.We were still so satisfied with a transit overnight stay that we would recommend the hotel to friends.
