Charming castle hotel with weaknessesThe hotel is in a nice location and looks beautiful from the outside. Some of the inside also looks very nice. It's clean (which I always find fascinating with high ceilings). However, the furniture in our room was tattered, the upholstery of two armchairs was completely torn, so that the inner upholstery was spread out. The TV remote control was also burnt (?), I can't say whether it would have worked because we didn't use the TV.The lamp connection in the bathroom was open.The breakfast was minimalistic, but absolutely sufficient, unfortunately what was empty wasn't replenished (eggs, cheese), there was only jam rolls.With the butter there was no option to put it on the plate without using their own cutlery (so that every guest had their own cutlery to serve the butter for everyone 🫢).There were empty beer bottles on a table in the foyer throughout our stay…Nonetheless, it was charming and fine for two nights.The price-performance was not given according to the defects.So we wouldn't come again.

beautiful old castle, and you can do that for one night. But I wouldn't have liked to stay there longer.Large rooms, but cold water in the evening, not even lukewarm.For breakfast you had to tick off a list of what you would like to eat beforehand, so there was no feel-good atmosphere.But the night was very quiet

Nice rooms, it was very warm outside, so I was there “just” at the right time 😎. The room was quite cool and only lukewarm water came. Didn't bother us for one night. Otherwise it's in a really quiet location and there's a lot to explore in the area. Conclusion, in summer weather you'll be happy to come back 👍. I can't judge autumn/winter, there was wood ready for a tiled stove 😉

Great facility, we were guests with our two Weimaraners a few years ago. At that time it was still called Rittergut.Very rustic and romantic inside with a huge fireplace and the feeling of a historical era. Beautifully located in the countryside. At our time the occupancy was low, so we had the feeling of being alone in the castle. Our room was large, clean and quiet. We didn't use the service or breakfast.

Spent an atmospheric night here.The enchanted castle is something special, the host is incredibly nice and has a lot to tell about his life full of experiences. The facility retains a lot of the old charm.If you want to have a historical, authentic experience away from the run-of-the-mill hotel and don't mind two kittens roaming around, this house is highly recommended.

Very old style. Unfortunately everything is a bit musty and dirty. Cobwebs everywhere. Open Lister terminals in the bathroom. Greasy kitchen chairs and sofa seat.

A great little castle in a beautiful area with very friendly hosts.Even if the rooms are not 100% up to date, there is a great atmosphere here and you feel very comfortable.

Actually a beautiful castle. But asylum seekers are now being housed there and everything outside is becoming more and more rotten. Very unfortunate.

A very inviting atmosphere from the outside. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the inside of the hotel. We weren't just disappointed, we were horrified. Not at all appropriate for the price, the staff rather unmotivated and unfriendly. We left sooner.

It is a very old castle and may well have been renovated. The old charm comes into play everywhere. But it's not for everyone. The breakfast wasn't that good. When checking in, a form had to be filled out for the breakfast ingredients. Coffee and butter allocated. No choice of sausage and cheese. There was a small drinks menu. But the prices are too high.

We spent one night in the castle and felt very comfortable. You can tell that the “hosts” are a bit overwhelmed with the rental process. On the phone they answer by name and at first you are confused as to whether you even ended up in the “hotel”. People are also not happy about questions. But once you get there, they are all very, very nice and friendly and the rooms are great. Not for people who want it licked and perfect. For everyone who wants to spend a night in a creaky bed in a rustic castle. Falling asleep in the evening and waking up in the morning to the wonderful song of nightingales in the castle courtyard was a dream.Conclusion: Not a noble hotel but a great place to stay... something different!

A pretty little castle where you can apparently spend the night. We only discovered it by chance and stopped briefly in the small parking lot directly in front of it. You can't see much and you can't walk around it either. It's really quite small, but in good condition. I think it's great that buildings like this are preserved.
