Felix Suiten am Augustusplatz

In April 2024 I had a very pleasant stay in the Leipzig suites - a comfortable room with a nice balcony, a very good breakfast at the restaurant, with a superb view on the town, and a great service. Definitely coming back next year!

spacious lovely suites with great views and stunning interior design! top location in the middle of the centre! everything was spotless clean! the staff was super friendly! roof top bar is awesome! the only thing to improve is a better signposted entrance as this was quite dark and not obvious.

Brilliant location, right in Leipzig's centre and across from tram lines servicing the city. Extremely lovely and helpful staff. Our XL Suite, in which we stayed for 2 weeks, was like a home. The rooms were spacious and clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cater for cooking food to take away dinners. We will be back, it was such a lovely stay!

I had a small issue with my room and they promptly resolved it. The view of the Augustusplatz is gorgeous.Bed is super comfortable, and the air conditioner saved me during a heat wave of 36 degrees. Be aware that the lower end rooms don't have a view nor air conditioner.Location is perfect, on walking distance from a lot of interesting spots and the breakfast was delicious. The coffee machines at breakfast have normal milk but the staff brought me a cappuccino with oat milk upon request with no problem. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Leipzig

Clean, comfortable rooms, full equipped kitchen with all your may need for short stay. Only salt was missing. Respect for wide selection of qualitative wine glasses:)

Felix Suiten are in the heart of the underestimated and very much growing and beautiful city of Leipzig, overlooking the magnificent political, historical and cultural centre of the city - Augustusplatz. While thinking with awe about the courage and strength of the thousands who gathered week after week in 1989 and contributed to the fall of not only the Berlin Wall, but the USSR itself, one can enjoy great architecture (a reimagining of the old Post building) with innovative decor interventions, tasty and interesting food (modern but substantive) and an impressive cocktail, wine and beer list. The staff are friendly and ready to assist. Breakfasts on the long balcony overlooking the platz and the historic centre are memorable, not only for incessant selfie hunters.

The apartments are centrally located in Leipzig, offering convenience and accessibility. In terms of the accommodations themselves, they possess several desirable features and provide a range of necessary appliances along with a enjoyable and lovely view towards Leipzig's Opera House and University. However, regrettably, these positive aspects are overshadowed by a number of shortcomings.Firstly, the quality of the bed leaves much to be desired. The pillows provided are noticeably small and lacking in sufficient loft, while the mattress itself is excessively firm to the point where it resembles a wooden surface rather than a comfortable sleeping arrangement. This detracts significantly from the overall comfort of the apartments.Moreover, the most disappointing aspect of the stay pertains to the breakfast service. Upon entering the breakfast/reception hall, I discovered that every table had already been reserved, leaving me with limited seating options. The alternatives offered to me were either the balcony or uncomfortable bar stools. This arrangement was entirely unacceptable, especially considering that I was accompanied by a young child. Consequently, the 3-year-old child was forced to perch on a high bar stool, which presented a clear safety hazard for a child of that age.Furthermore, the breakfast experience was further marred by insufficient attention to timely replenishment. The plates containing ham and cheese were repeatedly found empty, the pancakes were served cold, and there was a notable absence of bacon for the omelet. Such oversights and delays in replenishing the breakfast items demonstrated a lack of attentiveness and diligence on the part of the staff.Based on these unsatisfactory experiences, I cannot recommend staying in these apartments. While the central location and the presence of necessary appliances are positive aspects, the uncomfortable bed, the inadequate breakfast seating arrangements for families, and the subpar breakfast service ultimately diminish the overall quality of the stay. It is advisable to explore alternative accommodations in Leipzig that can provide a more satisfactory experience.

Great rooms, tasty breakfast, and lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Top location too.

Funky space with beautiful views of the square below. When we came the place was clean and comfortable. Quiet given the location. Good air conditioning in our S room. A bit pricey for Leipzig but not for the level of quality. Really friendly staff. We will return.
