Stayed at the hotel with a tour group for the slaughter festival. Staff great. Atmosphere too. Sufficient and good home-made slaughter platter in the 7-course menu. Recommended.

Great location. The hotel is located directly on Lake Kummerow. The view is fantastic. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but everything is clean. The service staff is super friendly and the food is great. Dogs are very welcome here. There are deer, goats, chickens and cows right on site. We were here privately. Many thanks to the entire staff, who always had an open ear and helped promptly. We'll be back!!

We stayed at the Hotel Gravelotte in Meesiger from August 16th to 17th, 2024 and were honestly disappointed.The room had a strange feel, was rather carelessly furnished and there was no insect protection in front of any windows (we had 3 of them). It was very warm and we couldn't open a window because there was already an invasion of small animals waiting on the windows to let us in. In high season, mind you, the restaurant was only open until 8 p.m. and then there wasn't even a place on the terrace to enjoy your own wine. There were no alternatives in the place to end the evening. It's a shame because the location is beautiful. Contrary to our expectations, breakfast was okay.Conclusion: This hotel has seen better days, which is very unfortunate due to the exposed location. It was fine for one night, although the surroundings make you want more, but you have to feel comfortable in the accommodation, even if it's just to sleep, and also want to spend a day there.

Rooms are sufficiently spacious and clean. There are smoking and non-smoking rooms. A change was possible. The location is idyllic, but doesn't offer much variety. Swimming area, small pleasure boat harbor, kiosk, restaurant, hotel, playground and animal enclosure, campsite is around the corner. The food in the restaurant as well as the furnishings are classic (East) German.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the hotel as we only tried the restaurant. And here too we only ordered an ice cream sundae and a coffee. The staff was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long.

A piece of paradise on earth. We had lunch here, two families with children.Incredibly tasty, very friendly, fantastic view on the terrace (a bit like Lake Zurich).Homemade ice cream that was freshly made in front of us - a must!Very nice atmosphere inside.We will be back. A real family business, with heart and mind.

Not recommended and racist after making a reservation by phone we were told to bring a good mood and cash. We drove there from Koblenz and unfortunately we looked southern. And when we arrived, we were not allowed to enter the campsite and after a long discussion, since we had made a reservation, the police came and we were evicted and in Germany with three small children we had to go back to Koblenz in the evening

Wonderful hotel with very friendly and quick staff. Were there with a tour group of 60 people. And unfortunately not enough time to try the special in-house EiZ. Food and tasting EiZ simply very tasty recommended I will come back with more time...Thank you very much

Hotel Gravelotte is a loving, family-run hotel whose charm blends perfectly into the truly beautiful landscape.Here every guest is looked after as if they were the only one.All employees are pleasantly attentive, very friendly and helpful.The hotel and its restaurant particularly shine with the slaughter festival that takes place on the weekends! “Feed like mothers” 😁From my room I had a great view down to Lake Kummerow.The immediate surroundings invite you to take relaxing walks in the low season with its lovely silence,or you can just enjoy the moment standing on the bank.In the high season, especially in the summer months, things are a little more lively.Absolutely recommended!!!P.S. : Traveling with your own car makes the most sense, as public transport is not as widely available.

We were at the hotel last weekend for the Schlachtefest. It was just great! The rooms are clean and simple, but completely adequate for our purpose. Our bathroom had a tub and a window, which you rarely find anywhere else. The service was also great, there was nothing to complain about. The "girls" were very friendly and helpful. The whole team is really trying hard. The location is also fantastic and invites you to go for a walk. You can enjoy pure nature here.The slaughter festival itself was also really good. In 8!!! Small samples were served in each course. Everything tasted good!We'll definitely be back!
