This hotel is just right for uncomplicated and open-minded people. We actually only wanted to stay one night, but we were so excited that we extended it for another night. The central but quiet location means you can reach almost everything on foot. We were allowed to use the kitchen and only met nice people there. Above all, the good conversations with Piia were something very special. We were definitely not there for the last time. All the best and keep it up dear Piia.

We were only here for one night, as a stopover before continuing on with a ferry. The backpack hotel, a relaxing hostel, not a hotel, but exactly what made Lübeck so appealing to us. Because here we found an open and warm atmosphere.

This place is bad.The beds are very uncomfortable and one bed even squeaks after every movement (you couldn't fall asleep), everyone wakes up immediately and the other mattress was very uneven (bent) (if you press on the other side, the other one goes up). And now to the toilet. There was no soap and everything was dirty and the shower... It had a rusty floor.The kitchen was very ugly (the sofa was like the second bed I described before). The kitchen was very unclean. There were leftovers on the table from the visitors beforehand. If you looked at the dirt in the kitchen, you were afraid to use the dishes.And the cherry on the cake was,the one party that everyone knew about (except us of course) was approved until 4 o'clock. It was super loud and no one told us anything about it.I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Terrible place. The rooms are very dirty, disrespectful to visitors. We ended up in a hotel before a children's competition, they put us in apartments and the neighbors threw a party that everyone knew about. Nevertheless, we were placed next to each other. The result was that the kids didn't get enough sleep, were tired, and the competition was terrible. The kitchen utensils had to be washed because you couldn't eat from them, the dishes were all dirty. As parents we were asked to use earplugs and relaxation methods, this is not allowed at all!!!! very dissatisfied with everything!!! I can't recommend this place to anyone!!

Unbeatable cheap! If you feel like a dormitory atmosphere. Kitchen is clean, rooms too, some things are broken. But we slept really well. Thank you, Piia!

Wonderful little hostel with a homely feel and a wonderfully eccentric and friendly host! Location is excellent close into town or across the river to a brilliant open water swimming spot. Pia was extraordinarily helpful, kind and accomodating- thank you for the stay :)

As backpacking seniors, my wife and I appreciated the private room on the ground floor. Quiet and comfortable, if a bit small. We particularly enjoyed talking with Piia, the owner and hostess. We hope to return next year.

Immense amounts of hospitality from the host. Truly a heartwarming experience and service. The rooms are slightly cold at night and the showers are low pressure but did the job for the stay. The host is very kind and full of stories about other musicians.

Lovely little homely building. Got myself a nice private room with a very comfy bed. Piia was a very caring and helpful hostess. Loved the atmosphere as well, but some darker curtains in the private room would be nice for sleeping in.

Our stay in Lübeck was really great, not least because of the evening conversations with Piia and the other hostel guests. We were given the opportunity to learn more about other countries and cultures and to exchange ideas. What a great hostel, simply unforgettable. We would have liked to stay longer and will definitely come back!

Piia, the owner, is simply a wonderful person. Always in for a chat and full of stories to tell. The place is lovely and clean. Location is great, close to the canal and to the city center. I met great people during my solo travel and I wish I stayed more. I will definitely go back!
