Today the Best Western in Greifswald is an asylum accommodation where there was a fire. For this reason the house is closed. The city council does not tell us what will become of the former hotel.

The hotel was near the hospital where we needed to make many visits to it. The manager was a polite guy. We stayed for a week the bed sheets were changed just once when I asked. The bathroom was not cleaned properly. The hotel closes the outside door at 10 p.m. and we had to call the guy to open for us when we came late at night. The Wi-Fi never worked. The manager asked us to leave the hotel earlier the we intended to leave because the electricity will be cut off and the hotel will be shut down. They cut off the electricity that we had to carry our luggage down the stairs to go to another hotel.

The hotel is easy to reach and you can be in the harbor or the city in just a few minutes' walk. From the outside, the hotel somehow doesn't seem inviting. Parking spaces in front are not maintained at all or not inviting. The rooms are actually in very good condition and also renovated. Please choose a room facing the street. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the bed linen had holes in it and didn't match the room. Booking by email didn't work, make sure you get confirmation! Currently hardly any guests. Colleague at the reception tries hard to keep the shop running. No card payment possible! This is very strange for a hotel. Breakfast was expensive for €12, we didn't try it. Ok for 1 to 2 nights, hard to imagine for vacation and relaxation. With a bit of attention to detail, certainly nice accommodation.

Hello,I stayed in this hotel for a week. The purest catastrophe!!! Extremely unfriendly staff. The whole hotel was extremely inflexible.And then you have to imagine. From 00:00 a.m. to 06:00 a.m. there is no access for hotel guests. Was out briefly at 5:00 a.m. and had to ring the hotel manager to get back to my room.I touched on this briefly. Answer: Please do not book here again. I recommend the same to everything else.

very friendly welcome, accommodating when entering the hotel after midnight due to a business appointment and extending the check-out time to work in the hotel room, varied and fresh breakfast buffet, parking lot directly at the hotel, rooms modernly furnished, shower/toilet in the single room a bit narrow; External impression of the service center where the hotel is located is not that nice.

It was fine. It was strange that the employees insisted on paying in cash. (Let everyone think what they want ^^) The hotel looks ugly from the outside but surprisingly beautiful from the inside. I didn't have breakfast because it wasn't available until 7 a.m. and I had to leave earlier. A clear plus point is that the reception is staffed 24/7. Room was clean and nice, had two sinks and a bathtub. Unfortunately no shower. There were plenty of parking spaces. Conclusion 3.5/5 with a tendency towards 4.
