We stayed at Villa Seebach for 5 nights. Before writing this review, we spoke to the staff and the manager. We can only say good things about the staff. Despite all the challenges, we were always served courteously. As an overall package we give 3 stars, although the room (Suite Seestern) gets a very favorable 2 stars. The fact that we first have to buy shower gel ourselves in the supermarket is a little special...After we discovered that if we lie sideways in bed, we won't disappear into a hole (with back pain in the morning) 😌 we were able to sleep quite well. The bathroom also needs some cosmetic repairs. Just a small example would be the silicone joint in the shower. But because the price was right, the room gets 2 stars. However, we wouldn't book there again. The breakfast for house guests was great. Fresh fruit, vegetables and changing displays every day. It was just a shame that the baked rolls were very cheap. We got fresh rolls from the bakery and then breakfast was perfect 😁Happy hours. Unfortunately we were disappointed and told that you cannot offer it.But at least we were able to get our welcome cocktail there. When it comes to WiFi, I would like to say that it's good that I have enough data volume😉 Although one was offered, unfortunately it wasn't usable. To conclude, the location is a dream, the villa has great charm, the staff goes out of their way to help everyone in their area. However, the employees can't help it if the engine keeps misfiring. 😉

We, four adults, went to the Villa Seebach restaurant last night without a reservation. Lutz welcomed us very friendly, asked for patience and we had a nice table. First-class service, very tasty food and always a funny saying. It was a wonderful evening. Thank you, especially to Lutz and of course the kitchen. We would love to come back!

The food was really very good and plentiful. We had already been there for coffee before and the cake was also very tasty. We only met nice and friendly people when it came to service. When the weather is nice you can sit outside very comfortably.

We went here for coffee (so can't say anything about the restaurant and the hotel) and overall we were very disappointed. The lavish selection of cakes advertised in front of the door was limited to just two, apparently frozen purchased products without the usual allergen labeling. The cream was also the cheapest spray cream - in a cafe / restaurant you should be able to whip cream!! We waited almost 10 minutes for anyone to show up to take the order. This process was repeated several times during our stay, which caused some potential guests to leave. The price quoted is clearly too expensive for the poor or overwhelmed service and the frozen baked goods.**A small update based on owner's comment:Adapting the selection of cakes to the number of visitors is completely legitimate. We criticized the announcement of - I think 5 or 6 types of cakes on the chalk board in front of the business (silent seller). If the cake was sold out, ok... but it was never available here and people simply didn't feel like writing on the board on a daily basis. We don't understand why whipped cream causes hygiene problems in a kitchen, i.e. a food processing plant. I can also tear open the tetra pack at home, whether it's cream or the sauce for dinner. If the cake comes from a pastry shop, the first pastry shop uses the frozen strawberries for the cake.

Unfortunately, total chaos. Waiting forever for the food. That was lukewarm. Like the drinks. Unfortunately no.
